All summer I've been trying to capture the Queen Anne's Lace and today this one called me. The intricacy of those tiny seedheads is a marvel.

Is there anything more lovely than Queen Anne’s Lace?

Queen Anne’s lace. I like the way the lower leaf leads into the flowers.

QUEEN ANNE'S LACE

Got lucky on my walk when I got "stuck" waiting for the Fremont bridge as it went up for this tug. The first few shots were longer exposures that blurred the motion of the boat in an unappealing way. I quickly upped the ISO and got this.

This is the first time Queen Anne has visited Sydney.. Construction started in October 2022, was launched in April 2023, and was christened in July 2024.

Out on a early evening’s ride in the countryside and along a farm road there was Queen Anne’s Lace all growing along the western side. Taken a few miles south of Davis , California in Solano County.

That's the actual name of this area of water, where two rivers converge at the Southampton Harbor area and flow into the English Chanel and then into the Atlantic Ocean. It seems to be a great place for sailing and all boating, including some of the largest ships in the world.
