I exclaimed "the Queen" in my mind when seeing this giant dragonfly elegantly laying eggs from the surface of the water like posing a dance. Later on I did some research to find out the name of this dragonfly species is "Emperor Dragonfly" or "Blue Emperor" - I think they deserve these names!

I have to say that I finally completed this task today but the photographs were not as exciting/beautiful as the old photos I took some years back. (I realized that this year I have missed the best month to take photographs of dragonflies and damselflies to lay eggs from the surface of the water) Therefore I am posting this image from 2018 instead ;-)

You know, sometimes it bothers me that Q comes before S. I feel like this is something I only think when I am incredibly sleep deprived, like I am right now.
Check out Remnant when you get a chance! There's a lot of great post-apoc themed items at the shopping event, including this cross prop pictured here from Disorderly! Comes in three different styles with lots of pose variations! This is not to theme, but they still look really great. I'm sure there are still cards after the Reckoning, or something. You won't have TV, probably, what else are you gonna do?

Queen buttefly at Tohono Chul Park. When we got to Tucson last November, there were still lots of flowers in bloom and it was warm enough for butterflies. Lucky us.

26th May 2015 - The last of the '3 Queens' celebrations sees the 'Queen Vic' depart out of Liverpool and past the old ticket booth at the end of Prince's Parade
This is a female belted kingfisher. Interestingly, its the female of this species that is more colorful, if you want to call it that. You can just barely see it on this photo, but she has a rufous belt across her breast which is missing on the male of the species. They have a very distinctive chattering call so it was pretty easy to tell where she was. I kept trying to get her in flight but all of them are just blurry messes.
Lizzi is the oldest of my cats. She's always been very charismatic and always got her way with everyone. That's why I eventually nicknamed her Queen Mother. She feels recognized by her new name and is very comfortable in her role. Even the dogs acknowledge her dominance.
"How rude! That's not how you kill a vampire...", explained the vampire queen to her "food" before eating him.
