C-GGDU, a Bombardier Q400, was preparing for departure from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. It was operating as JZA7968 (Jazz Aviation LP for Air Canada Express) to Montreal, Quebec. The blurred image is due to the photo being taken through the exhaust from the port engine of another Q400. The 1,815 foot / 553 metre-tall CN Tower stands in the background.

Serial number 4623 was arriving as DHC4623 (De Havilland Canada) after performing a pre-delivery test flight. It was eventually converted into a Q400-MR and delivered to Securite Civile at Saint-Gilles, France on January 10, 2022. It then became F-ZBMK.

Milan 76 resting on the tarmac of Nîmes, waiting for its next assignment. The evening light makes everything so great! The fire season has not started yet, but is imminent. The crews are getting ready for what could be a harsh season, given the dryness already.

Operated by the United States Department of Justice, serial number 4235 was delivered to its base at Manassas, Virginia on May 30, 2009 as C-FUOE and became N721AL ten days later.

Serial number 4495 became 5H-TCD with Air Tanzania Company Limited of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
C-FWXR, a Bombardier DHC-8-402 Q400, on approach to runway 15 at Downsview Airport in Toronto, Ontario. Serial number 4572 was arriving just before sunset as BBA14 (Bombardier Aerospace) after performing a test flight. It became 5Y-JXD with Jambojet Limited in Nairobi, Kenya.
Milan 73 lining up on runway 36 with a soft morning light. It was the first Q400 delivered to the Sécurité Civile in 2005 and has since then been accompanied by 4 other planes of the type. These Dashs were regular visitors in Paris a few years ago, but it is rare to get pictures at home! Nîmes is the headquarters of the Sécurité Civile since 2016, where all the firefighting aircraft are stationned.

When Q400 departed its origin yard in Hamlet, NC, the calendar still read 2016. Now, it's become one of the Met Sub's first trains of 2017 as it crawls through Silver Spring. From here, it's just a few hours away to the hump yard in Cumberland, MD.
