Captive wild juvenile python about 2ft in length
The reptile was released unharmed back to the wild at the nature reserve (relocation) soon after the pics were taken.
A wild South-West Carpet Python found near Mt Dale, Western Australia. It would have been about 1m long.

This good looking youngster was trying to get warm on the beach, probably washed at the beach by the river.
I found him/her when walking along a deserted beach at Tioman island very early in the morning
Diamond Python (Morelia spilota spilota). This beautiful beastie was resting on the road. Joe had to get out and use a tree branch to usher it off the road, which gave me a chance to take some photos and video. [Colo, NSW]

We met this fellow in a tree, while we were resting during a klong-trip in Bangkok. This species has the potential of growing up to 10 ms of length, being the worlds longest snake. Sadly it's hard to tell the length of this snake because of it's rolled-up condition, but my humble guess would be 2-3 ms.

During my visit to Eagle Heights last week, I was asked if I would like to hold a couple of the snakes and although I have always had a minor phobia about snakes, I jumped at the opportunity. This was one of them and I was completely shocked that they do not feel as I had imagined. In fact they are soft, smooth and dry but immensely strong. I no longer fear or have a phobia about snakes.
