Taille adulte : 1.10 m
Biotope : zones boisées et herbeuses, près de points d'eau
Particularités et mode de vie : ce python timide a une petite taille adaptée aux petites proies de son île. Il est facilement identifiable grâce à la coloration blanche de ses yeux.
Régime alimentaire : rongeurs, oiseaux
Reproduction : espèce ovipare, 15 oeufs

Re Artù, dopo aver vagato per la Gran Bretagna alla ricerca di valorosi cavalieri per la sua tavola rotonda, riceve da Dio (disegnato da Gilliam) la difficile missione di trovare il Santo Graal. Comincia così l'esilarante ricerca della santa coppa che sarà il pretesto per sfornare una carellata di gag e di personaggi comici: i Cavalieri "che dicono Ni" (tradotto, alterandone il senso, in tiè), il coniglio assassino custode della grotta, il tenacissimo cavaliere nero che non vuole cedere il passo a nessun costo e l'irresistibile mago pazzo (interpretato da John Cleese).
We met this fellow in a tree, while we were resting during a klong-trip in Bangkok. This species has the potential of growing up to 10 ms of length, being the worlds longest snake. Sadly it's hard to tell the length of this snake because of it's rolled-up condition, but my humble guess would be 2-3 ms.
During my visit to Eagle Heights last week, I was asked if I would like to hold a couple of the snakes and although I have always had a minor phobia about snakes, I jumped at the opportunity. This was one of them and I was completely shocked that they do not feel as I had imagined. In fact they are soft, smooth and dry but immensely strong. I no longer fear or have a phobia about snakes.
