Fun Fact - Jack Hanna was bit by a constrictor in the 70's. All different snakes of the constrictor kind take at least 30 minutes to relax their jaws enough to release after biting down.

This coastal carpet python ( Morelia spilota mcdowelli) had been in this pool filter inlet for a week. The pool owner wanted to tturn the filter on, so I removed the snake and made sure it was OK. I released the snake a few metres away in a tree. The next day the snake was back in the pool filter inlet.

Captive wild juvenile python about 2ft in length

The reptile was released unharmed back to the wild at the nature reserve (relocation) soon after the pics were taken.
