It has been many many years since sweet innocent Loinnir killed the golden dragon that once held her captive, some say the arcane nature of the creature's blood, and the transformative magic that comes with it drove her mad. some say it simply amplified what was already there, but all can see the physical mark it left on her body, over the years she has become more and more draconic in appearance, perhaps the outward manifestation of her growing powers? no one is brave or fool enough to dare ask her directly....

Simple Elements of Ritualistic Rovingian Practices - Imprinted Candles - Sacred Geometries by Daniel Arrhakis (2026)

Simple Elements of Ritualistic Rovingian Practices: Printed Candles and Sacred Geometries
Introduction to Ritualistic Elements
The elements presented form the basis of ritualistic practices and modern esotericism, integrating ancestral traditions with tools for visual, sensory, and energetic focus. This fusion allows the practitioner to amplify their intention and connection during rituals.
Printed Candles: Fire Magic and Symbols
Printed candles unite pyromancy, or fire magic, with the power of symbols. The ritual consists of burning a candle whose intention has been previously engraved or printed on its holder, using special stickers, herbal decals, or runes. It is believed that, as it burns, the candle releases this intention to the universe.
The use of symbols or sacred geometries, in relief or printed on the candle, should be done with respect to Rovingian cosmology. Certain symbols, such as those related to black magic, necromancy, demonology, human figures, saints, or crosses (except the Armenian cross when associated with elements of nature), are not permitted in Rovingian animistic rituals.
Function of Candles in Shamanic and Spiritual Rituals
The use of candles in shamanic and spiritual rituals aims to focus intention, elevate requests, and attract specific energies. Each candle color has its own vibration, facilitating different energetic connections according to the practitioner's objective.
Symbolism of Candle Colors
White: Peace, purification, sincerity, spiritual cleansing, and connection with ancestors.
Red: Strength, courage, passion, energy, action, and connection with the element of fire.
Yellow: Prosperity, intelligence, joy, solar energy, and creativity.
Green: Health, healing, hope, balance, and connection with nature and elemental beings.
Blue: Calm, wisdom, harmony, protection, and spirituality. Violet/Purple: Transmutation of energies, elevated spirituality, meditation, and deep healing.
Black: Absorption and banishment of negative energies, stagnant forces, malevolent entities, protection, and connection with Genius Loci.
Pink: Love, friendship, romance, affection, and emotional healing.
Orange: Success, luck, joy, and attraction of good energies.
Copper: Healing and energetic balance, harmony, femininity, guidance and spirituality, grounding, and connection with telluric energies.
Gold and silver candles are not used in Rovingian animistic rituals, as they are associated with ideas of power, success, and material possessions. In Rovingian Animism, rituals focused on ego empowerment, beauty, wealth, or negative feelings are prohibited.
Important Notes
Intention: The faith and intention of the person lighting the candle are fundamental, as they give strength to the ritual.
White Candle: Can be used as a substitute for any color or intention.
Seven-Colored Candle: Represents the union of the seven lines, being a powerful choice to integrate different aspects of life, such as love, health, prosperity, and peace. It also symbolizes the rainbow and the strength of spiritual and universal diversity.
Aromatic Candles in Mystical and Shamanic Rituals
Aromatic candles act as energy conductors: the flame symbolizes light and purity, while the aromas evoke specific moods, facilitating healing and spiritual connection. In shamanic contexts, candles can be combined with herbs or resins—rock crystals or cremation ashes of living beings, plants or animals, are not used—to enhance the practitioner's intention.
The Role of Candles in Healing and Rituals
Herbal Candles: Frequently contain mixtures of real herbs, such as rue or rosemary, used to treat trauma, physical pain, and spiritual illnesses.
Consecration and Intention: During the preparation or lighting of the candle, it is essential to visualize the purpose—such as health, forgiveness, or renewal—to align the ritual's energy with the formulated request.
Therapeutic vs. Aromatic Candles: For real healing effects, it is recommended to use therapeutic candles made with natural waxes (soy or beeswax) and pure essential oils, as they release the medicinal properties of the plants. Synthetic candles, on the other hand, only serve to perfume the environment.

Velas Impressas: Magia do Fogo e Símbolos
Amarela: Prosperidade, inteligência, alegria, energia solar e criatividade.
Azul: Calma, sabedoria, harmonia, proteção e espiritualidade.
Rosa: Amor, amizade, romance, carinho e cura emocional.
Her talent is pyromancy (the art of lighting things on fire with your mind), and you better watch out when she's not wearing her glasses.
Pulsing through the humid night air
A driving rhythm pushes the heat ever higher.
Shaking and quaking,
Aching and breaking.
That tribal beat quickens the pulse
And I pray this night never ends.

“Some women fear the fire. Some women simply become it ...”
― R.H. Sin
Image 8 of my pyromancy series
Dove: Dove are common to most large cities where they can nest high on castle walls and towers. They are frequently hunted using trained falcons.
Eagle: Eagles frequent rivers, lakes and other bodies of water where they can swoop down on fish. There is also a desert variety that soars over the deserts and savanna of Aridas.
Owl: One of the most diverse species of birds, Owls come in 5 recognized variations. They are used across all 5 kingdoms as messengers although Crows are favored in Northern Aridas.
Flamingo: A beautiful wading bird common across lakes and oasis of Aridas. They are renowned for their brilliant plumage.
Gull: Considered a pest amongst fishermen, Gull fly anywhere fish can be found. Their boisterous and roguish nature makes them a constant presence at any harbor.
Parrot: Native to the world’s tropical jungles, parrots are an intelligent and colorful bird. They are well known for their ability to mimic people and sounds which make them popular pets in Aridas.
Toucan: Toucan use their colossal beaks to crush nuts and fruit found high in the tropical canopies where they live. Their eggs are considered a rare delicacy and are highly sought after by humans.
Phoenix: Phoenix are a large bird native only to the stony peaks of western Rivvas. Deeply imbued in magic, phoenix are able to resurrect themselves in a flash of flame. It it said that a phoenix can only break their cyclical lifestyle by granting a human they trust with prestigious skills in pyromancy known as the “Phoenix’s Blessing”.
The flames reveal what the night conceals:
She is sprightly and fæger in that humid night air.
A frame of the moment, incandescent,
Like cereus, that night bloom a joyous
Affirmation of life and the evenings delights.

I really should have brought the Chemlab drumsticks from the last Chemlab concert (20071213) to get Jared to sign them... Oops. Either way, JSun was right! This picture came out really well. Had we properly posed and not been distracted, it never would have been this good.

Jared was totally crazy! Played 2 new songs, but mostly old stuff. Jared kicked John The Canadien in the forehead, haha. He also almost knocked Clint down by going all crazy and going into the crowd. Multiple times he had his microphone so far from the stage that random people in the crowd had to detangle themselves from the cord. At the end of the show, he totally spazzed out and stood on the bar, laid on the floor, etc, etc. It was pretty awesome. For someone who is totally sober, he is one of the least sober acting frontmen I've ever seen perform live...

Among the galaxies, there are billions of planets and stars, among them, only a few million that support life. The inhabitants name this planet; Spectra.
The species that evolved into sentience was spread throughout the planet by a drastic geological event. This resulted in the isolated and continued evolution of new forms of previously similar species. Eventually, this resulted in over thirty species of sentient species inhabiting a planet far larger than any lesser planet; I.E. Earth. Eventually the barriers that created these species were broken due to natural weathering. The different colored species all adapted to their endemic environments were suddenly thrown into the mix together. At first, wars broke out and chaos reigned, but over a million years, give or take a few hundred thousands years, the dust settled and most of these genetically dissimilar species became one and unified. In the aftermath, the smartest and bravest of these factions crafted a way in which a war amongst the species would never again break out; The Archwielder Program.
Each species on this planet, that are related, have different colors due to the different environments that they adapted to over the millennia. Not only do they have different colors, but each individual has their own unique genetic ability. This planet is not like most planets. It was created by another race of mysterious beings that were able to fuse mechanical, biological, and cybernetic material together. This is how the beings of this world have abilities that would seem “supernatural” to an ignorant mind. These beings are inexplicably linked to their environments and because of this they have control over their environments.
The Archwielder Program was instituted by the survivors of the Millennial Wars the leading heads of which include; lieutenant Dextrix (Who was one of the elite guards for royalty and led the Golden Sect), Captain Dreadnaught(A rogue that took control of the rebellion), and Admiral Aurora(Who took charge of her own brigade of peacekeepers to keep the streets clean during the war).
The Archwielder Program’s initiative was to create a system in which individuals were sorted into the field that the individual excelled in or found interest in. These individuals were gathered into groups of the same species and then sent out across the planet to keep the peace in any way that they could in the environment they were most suited for.
The Districts of the planet are artificial by name alone but have been divided by the sloppy hand of nature itself. These districts include;
Stone District: Brown, Tan, Black, and Purple species reside hear.
Water District: Various shades of Blue reside hear.
Fire District: Various shades of red, orange, and yellow reside hear.
Electricity District: Various shades of yellow and green reside hear.
Flora District: Various shades of Green reside hear.
Radon District: Various shades of Phosphorescence reside hear.
Ice District: Various shades of white, blue, and transparents reside hear.
The unusual abilities of the members of each of these species include;
Red: Pyromancy, Magmanacy, etc.
Orange: Photokinesis, Levitation, Etc.
Yellow: Heliokinesis, Electrokinesis, etc.
Green: Aerokinesis, Air mimicry, etc.
Lime: Acidokinesis, Radiokinesis, etc.
Blue: Hydrokinesis, etc.
Purple: Crystallokinesis, etc.
Violet: Telekinesis, etc.
Brown: Ferrokinesis, Geokinesis, etc,
White: Cryokinesis, Umbrakinesis, etc.
Black: Necromancy, Geomancy, Levitation, etc.
Neons: Plasmakinesis, Dynamokinesis, etc.
Individuals within a specific species can also generate different abilities due to genetic variability granted from parental mating. When individuals of different species mate their offspring may have more of one parent’s abilities and color or a mixture creating a hybrid of abilities, or creation of new abilities altogether.
The ranks within the system include;
Scout: lowest ranking individual, new recruit learning in the academy, signified by three buttons of their respective color.
Gladiator: More experienced individual, knows their way around, signified by custom made holster of their respective make.
Warrior: At least 5 years of experience can defend themselves and knows which profession they are going into, signified by custom markings of their respective color.
Wielder: At least 10 years of experience, has near-complete control of their natural ability, signified by twin black straps over shoulders with respective make and color.
Lieutenant: At least 30 years of experience, has complete control of their natural ability, signified by ceremonial necklace of respective color and make.
Captain: At least 50 years of experience, has not only complete control of their natural abilities but has near-complete understanding of their role in the program, signified by armband of respective make and color.
Admiral: At least 100 years of experience, has complete and utter control of their ability to an extreme, is an expert in their field, signified by custom weapon of their respective color and design.
Archwielder: At least 200 years of experience, has such a complete understanding of their abilities and role within existence that they can only be challenged of an equally experienced individual, signified by lack of a weapon and evolution of facial mask/helmet of respective color and make.
The groups of individuals tasked with keeping quadrants/districts safe and free of unnecessary violence are known as Garrisons. These Garrisons are rotated semi-annually and the participants are also rotated to avoid creation of racial/genetic divisions amongst the students. The Garrisons that exist include;
The Lightning Garrison (Full Charge)
The Magma Garrison (Spicy Sauce)
The Bezerker Garrison (The Bludgeoners)
The Firecracker Garrison (Lit Fuses)
The Hydra Garrison (Ebb and Flow)
The Flora Garrison (Peace on Earth)
The Fauna Garrison (Tooth and Claw)
The Phota Garrison (Best and Brightest)
The Terra Garrison (The Crusties)
The Dust Devil Garrison (The Dust Devils)

Fortune-telling is the practice of predicting information about a person's life. The scope of fortune-telling is in principle identical with the practice of divination. The difference is that divination is the term used for predictions considered part of a religious ritual, invoking deities or spirits, while the term fortune-telling implies a less serious or formal setting, even one of popular culture, where belief in occult workings behind the prediction is less prominent than the concept of suggestion, spiritual or practical advisory or affirmation.
Historically, fortune-telling grows out of folkloristic reception of Renaissance magic, specifically associated with Romani people. During the 19th and 20th century, methods of divination from non-Western cultures, such as the I Ching, were also adopted as methods of fortune-telling in western popular culture.
An example of divination or fortune-telling as purely an item of pop culture, with little or no vestiges of belief in the occult, would be the Magic 8-Ball sold as a toy by Mattel, or Paul II, an octopus at the Sea Life Aquarium at Oberhausen used to predict the outcome of matches played by the German national football team.
There is opposition to fortune-telling in Christianity, Islam and Judaism based on scriptural prohibitions against divination. This sometimes causes discord in the Jewish community due to their views on mysticism.
Terms for one who sees into the future include fortune-teller, crystal-gazer, spaewife, seer, soothsayer, sibyl, clairvoyant, and prophet; related terms which might include this among other abilities are oracle, augur, and visionary.
METHODS
Common methods used for fortune telling in Europe and the Americas include astromancy, horary astrology, pendulum reading, spirit board reading, tasseography (reading tea leaves in a cup), cartomancy (fortune telling with cards), tarot reading, crystallomancy (reading of a crystal sphere), and chiromancy (palmistry, reading of the palms). The last three have traditional associations in the popular mind with the Roma and Sinti people (often called "gypsies").
Another form of fortune-telling, sometimes called "reading" or "spiritual consultation", does not rely on specific devices or methods, but rather the practitioner gives the client advice and predictions which are said to have come from spirits or in visions.

SOCIOLOGY
Western fortune-tellers typically attempt predictions on matters such as future romantic, financial, and childbearing prospects. Many fortune-tellers will also give "character readings". These may use numerology, graphology, palmistry (if the subject is present), and astrology.
In contemporary Western culture, it appears that women consult fortune-tellers more than men. Some women have maintained long relationships with their personal readers. Telephone consultations with psychics (at very high rates) grew in popularity through the 1990s but they have not replaced traditional methods.
AS A BUSINESS IN NORTH AMERICA
Discussing the role of fortune-telling in society, Ronald H. Isaacs, an American rabbi and author, opined, "Since time immemorial humans have longed to learn that which the future holds for them. Thus, in ancient civilization, and even today with fortune telling as a true profession, humankind continues to be curious about its future, both out of sheer curiosity as well as out of desire to better prepare for it."
Popular media outlets like the New York Times have explained to their American readers that although 5000 years ago, soothsayers were prized advisers to the Assyrians, they lost respect and reverence during the rise of Reason in the 17th and 18th centuries.
With the rise of commercialism, "the sale of occult practices [adapted to survive] in the larger society," according to sociologists Danny L. and Lin Jorgensen. Ken Feingold, writer of "Interactive Art as Divination as a Vending Machine," stated that with the invention of money, fortune-telling became "a private service, a commodity within the marketplace".
As J. Peder Zane wrote in the New York Times in 1994, "Whether it’s 3 P.M. or 3 A.M., there’s Dionne Warwick and her psychic friends selling advice on love, money and success. In a nation where the power of crystals and the likelihood that angels hover nearby prompt more contemplation than ridicule, it may not be surprising that one million people a year call Ms. Warwick’s friends."
CLIENTELE
In 1994, the psychic counsellor Rosanna Rogers of Cleveland, Ohio explained to J. Peder Zane that a wide variety of people consulted her: "Couch potatoes aren’t the only people seeking the counsel of psychics and astrologers. Clairvoyants have a booming business advising Philadelphia bankers, Hollywood lawyers and CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies... If people knew how many people, especially the very rich and powerful ones, went to psychics, their jaws would drop through the floor." Ms. Rogers "claims to have 4,000 names in her rolodex."
TYPICAL CLIENTS
In 1982, Danny Jorgensen, a professor of Religious Studies at the University of South Florida offered a spiritual explanation for the popularity of fortune-telling. He said that people visit psychics or fortune-tellers to gain self-understanding. and knowledge which will lead to personal power or success in some aspect of life.
In 1995, Ken Feingold offered a different explanation for why people seek out fortune-tellers: "We desire to know other people’s actions and to resolve our own conflicts regarding decisions to be made and our participation in social groups and economies. … Divination seems to have emerged from our knowing the inevitability of death. The idea is clear - we know that our time is limited and that we want things in our lives to happen in accord with our wishes. Realizing that our wishes have little power, we have sought technologies for gaining knowledge of the future...gain power over our own [lives]."
Ultimately, the reasons a person consults a diviner or fortune teller are mediated by cultural expectations and by personal desires, and until a statistically rigorous study of the phenomenon have been conducted, the question of why people consult fortune-tellers is wide open for opinion-making.
SERVICES
Traditional fortune-tellers vary in methodology, generally using techniques long established in their cultures and thus meeting the cultural expectations of their clientele.
In the United States and Canada, among clients of European ancestry, palmistry is popular and, as with astrology and tarot card reading, advice is generally given about specific problems besetting the client.
Non-religious spiritual guidance may also be offered. An American clairvoyant by the name of Catherine Adams has written, "My philosophy is to teach and practice spiritual freedom, which means you have your own spiritual guidance, which I can help you get in touch with."
In the African American community, where many people practice a form of folk magic called hoodoo or rootworking, a fortune telling session or "reading" for a client may be followed by practical guidance in spell-casting and Christian prayer, through a process called "magical coaching".
In addition to sharing and explaining their visions, fortune-tellers can also act like counselors by discussing and offering advice about their clients’ problems. They want their clients to exercise their own willpower.
FULL-TIME CAREERS
Some fortune-tellers support themselves entirely on their divination business; others hold down one or more jobs, and their second jobs may or may not relate to the occupation of divining. In 1982, Danny L., and Lin Jorgensen found that "while there is considerable variation among [these secondary] occupations, [part-time fortune-tellers] are over-represented in human service fields: counseling, social work, teaching, health care." The same authors, making a limited survey of North American diviners, found that the majority of fortune-tellers are married with children, and a few claim graduate degrees. "They attend movies, watch television, work at regular jobs, shop at K-Mart, sometimes eat at McDonald’s, and go to the hospital when they are seriously ill."
LEGALITY
In 1982, the sociologists Danny L., and Lin Jorgensen found that, “when it is reasonable, [fortune -tellers] comply with local laws and purchase a business license.” However, in the United States, a variety of local and state laws restrict fortune-telling, require the licensing or bonding of fortune-tellers, or make necessary the use of terminology that avoids the term "fortune-teller" in favour of terms such as "spiritual advisor" or "psychic consultant." There are also laws that forbid the practice outright in certain districts.
For instance, fortune telling is a class B misdemeanor in the state of New York. Under New York State law, S 165.35:
A person is guilty of fortune telling when, for a fee or compensation which he directly or indirectly solicits or receives, he claims or pretends to tell fortunes, or holds himself out as being able, by claimed or pretended use of occult powers, to answer questions or give advice on personal matters or to exercise, influence or affect evil spirits or curses; except that this section does not apply to a person who engages in the aforedescribed conduct as part of a show or exhibition solely for the purpose of entertainment or amusement.
Law-makers who wrote this statute acknowledged that fortune-tellers do not restrict themselves to "a show or exhibition solely for the purpose of entertainment or amusement" and that people will continue to seek out fortune-tellers even though fortune-tellers operate in violation of the law.
Similarly, in New Zealand, Section 16 of the Summary Offences Act 1981 provides a one thousand dollar penalty for anyone who sets out to "deceive or pretend" for financial recompense that they possess telepathy or clairvoyance or acts as a medium for money through use of "fraudulent devices." As with the New York legislation cited above, however, it is not a criminal offence if it is solely intended for purposes of entertainment.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also bans the practice outright, considering fortune-telling to be sorcery and thus contrary to Islamic teaching and jurisprudence. It has been punishable by death.
SKEPTICISM
Fortune-telling is dismissed by the scientific community and skeptics as being based on magical thinking and superstition.
Skeptic Bergen Evans suggested that fortune-telling is the result of a "naïve selection of something that has happened from a mass of things that haven't, the clever interpretation of ambiguities, or a brazen announcement of the inevitable." Other skeptics claim that fortune-telling is nothing more than cold reading.
A large amount of fraud has occurred in the practice of fortune telling.

Scorn that cuts to the quick
Shorn of hubris by that disdainful look,
It snapped me back to those
Uncertain early teen insecurities.
Meanwhile…
She had no idea of my doubt
– and fear –
As she slid across the dance floor
(always expressive)
While moving to that dank beat..

The world keeps spinning
The tide’s forever turning
Good people keep sinning
And war is still burning.
And here I am
Yet here I am.
The boss is skimming
The street’s anger churning
Our future’s hope dimming
For peace we’re yearning.

Pyromancer Emma Carlborg (Instagram: elevated_emma) performs at TFTI_LA in Downtown Los Angeles, California, on Jan. 9, 2020.
As the show came to a close, Jared totally spazzed out and stood on the bar, laid on the floor, etc, etc. It was pretty awesome. For someone who is totally sober, he is one of the least sober acting frontmen I've ever seen perform live... Here is his shoe, as he lay completely splayed out on the floor. Carolyn's shoe in the bottom left corner, my held-together-by-duct-tape boots on the bottom.
That poor cup never stood a chance.

BACKSTORY: Chemlab / 16 Volt / Left Spine Down concert. We arrived while 16 Volt was playing. Our 2nd time seeing Chemlab. Met up with John, saw Lauren & Andy, got moshed into by Dana, hung out at my place and drank and watched cartoons afterward, with JSun & John.
Jared was totallycrazy! Dancing among the cobblestones.

With none knowing her gifts.
