白頭鵯 Light-vented Bulbul【學名：Pycnonotus sinensis】雀形目 / 鵯科 / 特亞。俗名：白頭翁、白頭殼仔(台語)。
為一般普遍常見的雀鳥，因常棲於市區、公園等常見人類活動環境中，所以與「麻雀」、「綠繡眼」有城市三俠之稱。
雌雄外型無太大差異，雄鳥體型稍長，外型辨識重點為：前額黑，頭頂與頭後呈白色。因白頭翁族群數量眾多，常有雜交個體，相似種為：烏頭翁。
因白頭翁有習性於清晨天一亮就開始鳴叫，又有「啼明鳥」之封號，所以只要一聽到白頭翁的叫聲，就知道天亮了啦！白頭翁也是被我列為不好拍攝的鳥種之一，雖為公園普鳥，但要將牠們拍的美且自然，真是考驗腦力激盪，拍攝多年以來，這倒是第一張稍為滿意的照片，原想拍攝其心裡為白頭翁設定的場景，但因為拍攝一整天下來，似乎沒有想要的畫面，發現原來白頭翁站在很不起眼的荷葉，卻有種相襯的感覺，或許是誤打誤撞吧！所以將其作品命名為「荷必在乎」，在我的內心裡，白頭翁為我上了一課。我也終於把城市三俠的作品拍齊了，繼續尋找我的拍鳥靈感吧！
