The “Petit véhicule protégé” or PVP (for small protected vehicle) is an armored vehicle produced by Panhard since 2008 as an armored liaison and command vehicle. Its conception dates back to the end of the war in Yugoslavia, during which these missions were carried out by Peugeot P4s, whose lack of protection was a major limitation.
More than 1,200 of these vehicles have been produced, and today they can be found in many French army units. In operational terms, the PVP has been massively used in the Sahel region since 2013, notably by engineer regiments.
This small model can accommodate 2 equipped soldiers, one at the front and one at the rear in front of its small radio. Both side doors can be opened, as can the rear door and roof hatch. The remotely-operated turret is included, but can easily be removed. The roof can be removed to have access to the interior. Of course, the vehicle can roll.

Le "Petit véhicule protégé" ou PVP est un véhicule blindé produit par Panhard dès 2008 en tant que véhicule de liaison et de commandement blindé. Sa conception remonte à la fin de la guerre de Yougoslavie durant laquelle ces missions étaient accomplies par les Peugeot P4 dont le manque de protection a représenté une limitation majeure.
Plus de 1200 de ces véhicules ont été produits et ils sont aujourd'hui présents dans de nombreuses unités de l'armée française. Opérationnellement le PVP a été massivement utilisé au Sahel dès 2013, notamment au sein des régiments du génie.
Ce petit modèle peut accueillir 2 soldats équipés, un à l'avant et un à l'arrière devant sa petite radio. Les deux portes latérales ainsi que la porte arrière et la trappe de toit s'ouvrent. La tourelle téléopérée est incluse mais peut très facilement être retirée. Le toit peut être enlevé pour accéder à l'intérieur. Evidemment le véhicule peut rouler.
