FlyDubai Boeing 737-8MAX is seen just after pushback at Catania Airport on Sunday 17th September 2023 with flight FZ1502 to Dubai. The aircraft was delivered new to FlyDubai on 30th December 2021 and has been in continuous service with the airline ever since.
The aircraft had just started to taxi to the active runway, unfortunately the timing wasn't great as our passengers began to board and thus I could only get this shot before returning to my galley - I needed a few more seconds to allow the aircraft to get closer for a better angled shot but in the end this hasn't come out too badly :)

Two new additions to my collection are the Schopf F59 aircraft tractor/pushback tug, and a Truck Firefighting Airfield Crash Rescue 2 Tonne 6x4 Mark 2, Range Rover (TACR2).
The Schopf F59 is a 1:76 scale, 3D printed model by Ray Rimes. The F59 is an all wheel drive, medium aircraft tractor, apparently designed to manoeuvre narrow body regional aircraft. I have added a set of chocks and a fire extinguisher, glazed front and back and painted.
The Range Rover TACR2 is a diecast model by Oxford, also 1:76 scale. Originally bearing military VRM plates, and with “Royal Air Force” on the sides, an RAF roundel and Union Flag on the rear. I removed these with cotton buds and nail polish remover. I added the thin yellow line along the sides, painted the blue warning light orange, added two blue warning lights and applied civilian VRM plates (which in reality belong on a minibus). This will primarily be found as part of the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) team on the Barra layout.
This means my airport support vehicle/equipment collection now consists of - Two tractor tugs, two tow bars, one ground power unit, and one ARFF TACR2.
Pushback complete - they just removed the tow bar. Outbound to Bozeman, Montana (BZN) using flight number AA 2297.
This T500 is a former TWA pushback this massive beast was resting at the AA overhaul base here in MCI....was finally started again and now sits at the end of runway 19R awaiting his fate (possibly believed to be going to the down town airport to be used to move around the L-1011 going to the history museum)

Video: The survivors of the Farmakonisi disaster talk to reporters and explain how the Greek coast guard's illegal push-back operation turned into a mass drowning of 12 women and children. They accuse coast guard officers of using violence against those involved and failing to save the lives of people in the water.
