On our way! Right after push-back we are face to face with a KLM Airbus A330. The aircraft was pushed back minutes earlier and passed behind us. We will be pushed back further so that the A330 can pass. After that we will follow him and taxi to Schiphol's Polderbaan runway 36L. The A330 is flight KLM651 to Washington.

"S/N" is the aircraft's serial number. "L/N" is a Boeing code denoting what order the airframe came off the production line. "F/N" refers to an individual airline's fleet numbering system. Not all airlines use a fleet number; not all manufacturers use a line number.

The Boeing Collection
From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age. I needed a change from the 727s so we're switching to a few piglets :)
A short-lived aircraft with French charter airline Aerotour, seen on flight FV3652 at Gatwick. This aircraft was only with Aerotour from April 1980 to January 1981, then going to TAAG Angola as D2-TBT.
F-GCGR c/n 22024 - Boeing 737-2L9 was delivered new to Maersk Air as OY-APG in Dec 1976, but was only with the airline three years before being sold to Guiness Peat Aviation. The aircraft was immediately leased to Air Lanka as 4R-ULC. The next lease was with Aerotour as F-GCGR, but only for a few months, before being leased to TAAG Angola as D2-TBT. A year later, the aircraft returned to Guinness Peat as EI-BMY, and then passed through a number of further leases - G-BKRO Air Europe, C6-BFC Bahamasair , XA-TCP Saro and then it returned to the USA as N358AS and flew with Air South, and then N464AT with AirTran Airways into the 21st century. The aircraft ended up with Sky King and was retired to Merced [formerly Castle AFB] CA, and is now at the Castle AFB Museum.
