I’m very tired of the Seeker Sensitive/Purpose driven-type churches with folks like this at the helm. When they present like this, they are probably not the real deal, IMHO. I decided to treat this as an emergency in the comic book style.
Amos 8:11 comes to mind. And 1Tim 6:5.
There was a study recently by Balls and Pul that showed that 60% of preachers are narcissists. Pastor Jeff Crippen estimates that the visible church is currently composed of 80% unbelievers. No wonder people are walking away with all the hypocrisy.

Barry McLerran, deputy district director, office of Representative Mia Love (Utah's 4th District - R), visited with Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) leadership for a depot overview and tour Wednesday.
McLerran was given the opportunity to tour several depot mission areas and receive the depot’s Overview video and Command Perspective briefing, presented by Col. Jimmy Brown, TEAD depot commander.
Areas visited included the Ammunition Demilitarization Furnace, Ammunition Equipment Test Site, Less than Car Load/Less than Truck Load (LCL/LTL), Blocking and Bracing Wood Shop, Ammunition Rail Outload Operations and concluded with a tour of the Pilot Model Shop.
Throughout the tour, leadership answered questions and emphasized TEAD’s continuing focus on warfighter readiness and providing outstanding customer support to not only the services, but to munitions partners through a dedicated, purpose-driven workforce.

In a world that constantly encourages us to move faster, do more, and chase the next big thing, I have learned that some of life's sweetest moments are often the simplest ones.
A quiet afternoon.
A favorite drink in hand.
The gentle beauty of flowers surrounding you.
A peaceful moment to pause and simply breathe.
These are the moments that remind me how gracious God truly is.
Sometimes we spend so much time looking for extraordinary blessings that we overlook the small gifts He places before us each day. The warmth of sunlight through a window. The laughter of someone we love. A comforting conversation. A beautiful bloom opening in its season.
God's fingerprints can be found in all of it.
When I look at the flowers in creation, I am reminded that beauty does not rush. Flowers bloom according to God's timing. They do not compete with one another. They simply become what He created them to be.
What a beautiful lesson for us.
