Another one of those ubiquitous birds we sometimes overlook. No critter has more pure spunk than a mockingbird.

A bit more personal photo this time. This is Julius as we see him the most. He is so pure. His laugh is the most honest laugh you can get. I love it.
These days he is learning to crawl. He is 7 months now. Reminding me that it was 7 months ago I went through the back surgery. What a trip it has been. Unreal. Makes me sad. Until I look at this.... ;-)

Cornwall is pretty well under the main route which transatlantic airlines take between cities such as London, Amsterdam, and Hamburg to New York, Chicago, and Toronto. As such the sky is always criss-crossed with vapour trails. Not at the moment it isn't.
Beautiful weather today; about 12C and the wind has dropped from what it's been. All the pubs and restaurants are closed as are most cafes. All Rick Stein's businesses are closed. The cycle hire was closed too, which quite surprised me, although on reflection, it's an activity which involves different people touching things.
There were people out walking, but a fraction of what you'd normally find on a Sunday in weather like this.
