West highland Terriers have become arguably the most popular terrier in the world. This is no surprise when their friendly temperament, high energy and beautiful white coats are taken into consideration. Thanks to their handsome good looks and excellent temperaments they are often seen on television and frequently in advertising.
Misty is doing well although disgracing herself on occasion but that is generally my fault for not seeing the signs. :-)

A rescue dog, Sybil was a late starter at puppy training. A very nervous snappy young collie she really struggled to fit in at first. Tim has been helping her to find her feet and she gets a little more relaxed each week.
Very gloomy in the hall and the 18 - 135 isn't the quickest so I had to shoot at ISO 12800. X-trans sensor seemed to handle it reasonably well.
Clicked this really cute and naughty pup today at Morni Hills, Haryana.
Selectively colored his markings.
I had a 55-250mm lens and needed 6-7 feet gap for this shot. This cutie was so brisk lol; made me run to get the gap and this shot.

When your Labrador puppy moves into his new home, he still has a lot to learn. So how to potty train a lab puppy?

If you didn't gather or see my comment yesterday on my own daily. Jerry is now ours. I realize having a puppy is a huge taking on. I actually like the devotion now that a puppy needs. Like, instead of a cat that lays with you in bed encouraging you just to lay there with them....all day long. Having a active pet is really good to push me back into being more active.
Things have slowly been taking shape with his training. But this morning was a little stressful, chaotic and leaving me worried. Jerry broke down the baby gate we have at the top of the stairs, I chased after him. But here comes the worried part, before I could get down to him, he had gulped or so we think was a cat mouse, the little plastic ones. Oreo and Scooter had left them out at the bottom of the stairs, when I woke up I typically move them but I forgot this morning. So either the cats took one away since the time I woke up and few moments I was upstairs before this, or the poor Jerry has one in his stomach.
He's became very good at waiting for cars to pass. Before he would just run as fast as he could almost into them. But today we had also the problem of him getting the leash out of my hand. He ran free for about five minutes up a hill with me after him, he got tired and luckily a person was standing there grabbed the leash. Sneaky.
Sorry this isn't great I decided to do a week “of me and Jerry”. This is us after I disciplined him and I sat him down on my lap to give him a moment to [breath] before jogging home.

Hope and Ability Certificates
"Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA’s mission is to assist individuals living with a broad range of disabilities in finding and training their own assistance dogs which provide greater independence in their lives. They also locate, raise and train dogs to to provide greater independence with individuals with disabilities that cannot train their own assistance dog."
PAD holds small, intimate, primarily one on one classes to teach individuals how to train their dogs to become the fabulous, hard working assistance dogs that we all know so much about. Additionally, we also train one assistance dog at a time for an individual that is unable to train their own assistance dog. It costs approximately $15,000 to place each assistance dog, but we continue to strive to place each dog free of cost to the individual in need. PAD relies solely on donations to provide these services.
