Glad that Ripley has taken to Boo so well. Definitely likes being a big sister, teasing and learning all the new ways to play with a puppy. :)

What a wonderful day yesterday was! As planned we headed to Roanoke for church and after the services we went to a fellow church goers house for lunch and fellowship, and they had puppies! 7 all together and these are English Golden Retrievers about 2 weeks old. Cutest things ever! :) Then on the way home we thought at first we saw a bear in the road, turned out it was a newly born Black Angus calf! Cars were whizzing around the poor thing so, not dressed for calf catching we hunted the nearest farm house driveway. This drive turned into about a half mile long track through cow fields with Gorgeous views to a house and barn where fortunately the farmer was out working on his tractor. When we left he and a couple of other do-gooders had the calf on the side of the road and hopefully it was soon united with Mama. What a day. Puppies and Calves and church all rolled into one very pleasant experience. :) Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. Anita and I are headed North today to see what we can see. ;)

Un manto de tierra convenientemente abonada y protegida por una tela verde y agujereada cubre la estructura de acero. Unos 40.000 agujeros dan refugio a las flores que lo adornan. No es fiero, pero impone. Dicen los de Bilbao que el museo Guggenheim es sólo su caseta. Cambiar las flores del Puppy cuesta unos 100.000 euros y se suele tardar diez días.
Puppy is a sculpture created by American artist Jeff Koons in 1992. It is 12 metres high and weighs 15 tonnes and is supported by a metal frame. A layer of suitably fertilised earth, protected by a green, perforated cloth, covers the steel structure. Some 40,000 holes provide shelter for the flowers that adorn it. It is not ferocious, but it is impressive. The people of Bilbao say that the Guggenheim Museum is just its home. Changing the flowers on Puppy costs around 100,000 euros and usually takes ten days.

I've no idea who this little beauty belongs to, I took this shot in Wirksworth while walking around. Just looked at me with those big eyes and said take my photo please!
I brought this adorable little puppy home in hopes that my husband would let me keep her. It didn't work and I had to bring her back, but we had a fun day of playing together and a mini photoshoot. :)
Hey I finally got him to lay down a while.
He got a new collar which matches his checkered paw....and has his fave blanket....spoiled...OHHHH nooooooo ... what would give you that idea???...LOL!!! Despite all my efforts....any inside shots results in blue eyes...although his eyes are very dark
