Liverpool - The Giant Puppets parading around town. Truly spectacular event. This was the sandal of the largest giant. 20 ft plus tall and over a ton in weight. Once in a life time opportunity to see this amazing story unfold and conclude.

So, I'm saying that this applies to everybody, but just based on the things that I've read, I feel like I'm the only one who bought this Cedar because I absolutely ADORE her. She's so creepy and so detailed and is literally everything I could ever want from a sdcc doll!
Also, unrelated, but I also ordered Ghostbusters Frankie off mattycollector with Cedar, and she hasn't even shipped. Is anybody else having problems like that?

Read a blog post about making my giant puppet for last year's Beltane.
It's designed to foreshorten a little - the head and shoulders are to a noticeably smaller scale than the buttocks and legs, to give an overall effect of towering even more than it really does.
Eventually I attached a human-scale mask to it, which was really a bit too small for the head; I decided to make it explicitly a mask, hung on by string, so it didn't need to be to scale, but I still rather wish I'd made it a little bigger.
When I took it out later for the Leith Festival, I did in fact make a bigger mask for it.
