This is a shot of a piece of ruins, of what used to be a cat kennels business. Friends of ours used to stay on a smallholding outside the town, and these fascinating ruins were on their property.
One of the magnificent Suffolk Punch heavy horses we were lucky enough to meet on a tour of the Suffolk Punch Trust, Hollesley.

There's a famous tobacco store in Boston called Peretti's, which has been there since 1870 and has a wide renown across the States for its high quality tobacco and tobacco products.
Outside is a wooden sculpture which has been there for years, called Punch, originally named after a certain Cuban cigar.
He stands there every day enjoying a cigar from his cigar box.....and apparently enjoying watching all the girls go by.

I decided to re-edit and resize this photo of the famous Punch Bowl Falls I took in 2015.
The falls are located in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon along Eagle Creek. The area was devastated by the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire which burned around 49,000 acres.

Like a fist punching threw the air this one cloud darted out making it the main subject. Combining it with the mountain tops that were receiving the last of the evening light, and the image came into balance.

Punch cards were used in the early 19th century to store data and control machinery. The pattern represents a punch card carrying a message encoded using methods invented in the 1960s.
The entrance façade is covered in a series of lines, circles and dots. This composition represents the information resources in the University’s websites, including their myriad networks and layers of connections captured at a moment in time.

Mather Point, Grand Canyon, Arizona
It was a cloudy morning with wet clouds moving about. Rain showers and sunbeams were the order of the morning. Here the sun punches through the clouds, landing a massive sunbeam on the western slope of Bright Angel Canyon.
Major and I hiked a couple of waterfall trails in the Columbia Gorge. This was one of our destinations, very popular, a lot of people there and swimming up to the falls. We hung out a few hours waiting for the sun to shade the gorge a bit, and it really cleared out for about 15 min. Enough to capture it with no people before the next wave of hikers showed up.

This is along Eagle creek trail #440, which I do not know how long it goes as I went back in a hurry. Punchbowl is one of the many waterfalls along the trail. From my 4 hrs hike, round trip, I could count almost 10 of them total. Most of it you can only view from the top.
That was the second beautiful hike I ever had, next to Acadia in Maine of course.
