I thought I would post this to alert those who are not aware of the danger. Even if you think your cats would not go near them, don't take the chance. : )
Minnie: "Our Flickr friends need to know how important it is to eat a healthy diet during these days of "Safe at Home".
Mickey: "Yes, Minnie. No matter what it is called, being kept at home is important during this epidemic. Or is it called a pandemic? It's a virus that is going around the world with deadly effects.
Minnie: "That's why eating a healthy meal like we're planning to do is important for maintaining good health."
Mickey: "That's right, and along with sleep and exercise, washing our hands, and keeping our social distance, we can get through this."
Minnie: "That is so important!"
Mickey: "By the way, have you seen Donald Duck around lately?"

Never turn off the radio in the Faroe Islands.
While we were driving north from Tórshavn to the G! Festival in Gøta, the festival announced an indefinite weather delay. Magnus, who had passed us on his way north to Eiði, called us to tell about it. On the correct assumption that we did not listen to the radio.
So we visited him in Eiði to wait out the weather there.
At 21:02 the sun suddenly exposed the whitecaps at sea. At 21:14, the festival announced that they would start with Moto Boy at 21:30.
it doesn't take all that much to make me do a u-turn and pull over. Literate primates and crazy socks will do it every time!

Unlike the UK, we here just “fell back” in time in the wee hours of the morning. Many here want to see an end to the time changes but, we can’t from what I understand unless our US neighbours want to as it has something to do with the stock exchange. Whatever as my grandkids would say 😉
As you run around changing watches or clocks that still need to change don’t forget to change the batteries inyour smoke detector(s) and the time in your camera as well. This has been your PSA for the week 😉
I want to thank each and everyone who took the time to visit my little space here on Flickr. Have a super day!
Smoking constricts blood vessels and causes clogged arteries, that can lead to impotence in men.
This shot has been attempted by many photographer .. this one is my take on it.
Issued in Public Interest.

If you'll look at the couple photos before this one, you'll see praying mantis shots.
And this, of course, is an orchid.
I'm realizing that orchids and mantids have a very similar visual feel -- both possess a kind of alien grace, an exotic and unfamiliar arrangement of familiar parts (be it petals or antennae).
So, this leads me to the natural conclusion that one day, orchids and mantids will be our alien masters.
They are just biding their time.
This Public Service Annoucement is brought to you by, Americans Against Orchids And Mantids (AAOAM!).
Public Service Announcement, from the early 70's . This is a photo of an actual billboard sign that was placed throughout metropolitan cities! Times have certainly changed!
Dirty Dem - Alter Ego Shoot
I was recently inspired by Atlanta photographer Derek Blanks, who works mostly with celebrities. His latest project, the “Alter Ego” series, has changed the way we think of the art of photography. The concept of the series puts the complexity of the human persona on display, taking his celebrity subjects and splitting them into two separate entities in a sort of high concept Clark Kent meets Superman experiment.
So I recently gave it a try with one of my friends and local rappers Dirty Dem. The concept behind this one is that Dirty Dem is drunk driving and hitting/killing his real self, Daniel Duarte.
Please let me know what you guys think about this. Do you think it's cheesy? Would you like to see more alter ego shoots in the future?
