Going all artsy for the Smile on Saturday theme 'Silhouettes'. The stamens of my orange azalea are silhouetted against the backlight source and I used a separate tiny point light to illuminate the stigma.

Gaius Caesar was the eldest son of Julia (Augustus' daughter) and Agrippa (his deputy). Gaius was an obvious successor to Augustus and started his military and civic career when he was very Young. His untimely death, during a campaign against Parthia in the east provoked unparalleled national mourning.

Photo from this morning, I was going to shoot sunrise but it was too foggy so I decided to shoot something else that provokes the mood!
So today I finished wrapping, boxing and storing all the christmas decorations, here and in another closet. I have a ridiculous amount.
Now I'm waiting for "The One".
The one you always find sometime in Feb/March .....once in April.
You know it's out there somewhere, snickering and waiting to go
nah-nah-nahnah-naaaah when you find it and have to restrain yourself from stomping on it.

I'm cleaning out the front patio. leon hauled off a large pile, probably at least 3 feet high and larger across, for me this morning. it's hot and humid so I'll return to chomping and pulling and moving more stuff asap.
