Today I found a great many mosquitos and mosquito larvae but only two grasshoppers and no katydids. That is the sad result of the "mosquito control" programs - they kill lots of things but the mosquitos reproduce very quickly and are not really impacted at all. Now the question is - will there be enough of the predators that eat the mosquitos left?

In 1978 Roger Waters came to his band mates in Pink Floyd with two concept albums he had been working on for the next Pink Floyd album. One was The wall the other was Pro's and cons of hitchhiking. The band liked The wall best as they thought Pros and cons dealt too personally with Rogers life....When Floyd disbanded in 1983, Waters went into the studio to record pros and cons as his first solo album with a great line up of musicians including Andy Bowen, Andy Newmark, Ray cooper and a certain Eric Clapton on lead guitar...The album rotates around a mans scattered thoughts on a road trip around California, focusing on his mid life crisis. Along the way he faces other fears and paranoia.....This then ,the final product is as good as anything from Pink Floyd.
