The Mourning of Muharram is an important period of mourning in Shia Islam, taking place in Muharram which is the first month of the Islamic calendar. It is also called the Remembrance of Muharram (Arabic: ذكرى محرم or مناسبة محرم). Many of the events associated with the remembrance take place in congregation halls known as Hussainia.
The event marks the anniversary of the Battle of Karbala when Imam Hussein ibn Ali, the grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and a Shia Imam, was killed by the forces of the second Umayyad caliph Yazid I. The event is marked by arranging 'majalis' (gatherings) to review Islamic teachings and to commemorate Imam Hussain's sacrifice. The mourning reaches its climax on the tenth day, known as Ashura, on which the forces of Yazid killed the 72 individuals who fought, including Imam Hussain, his family and supporters. The women and children left living were made prisoners and transported to Yazid's court in Damascus.

والقرآن الكريم مليء بمثل هذه الدلائل والآيات ، من ذلك قول الله سبحانه : ( هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ . إِنَّ فِي اخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُونَ ) يونس/5-6.
فكل ما خلقه الله سبحانه في السماوات والأرض وما بينهما إنما خلق بالحق ، وللحق ، ولتكون آيات الله للمتقين ، وذلك أعظم دلالة على عظمة الحكمة التي خلقت لها هذه الأجرام الهائلة .
ويقول سبحانه وتعالى : ( إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ ) الأعراف/54 ، فكلمة ( مسخرات ) هنا تحمل في طياتها ما لا يعد من الحكم والمنافع لخلق النجوم في فضاء الله سبحانه .
ولا فرق بين الكواكب والنجوم في الاصطلاح القرآني ، اللهم إلا ما ذكره العسكري في “ الفروق اللغوية ” (ص: 301): “ أن الكوكب : اسم للكبير من النجوم . وكوكب كل شيء معظمه ، والنجم عام في صغيرها وكبيرها ” انتهى. #الإسلام_سؤال_وجواب

The name Zulfiqar, which means "Cleaver of the Spine," is attributed to a unique feature of the sword. Unlike ordinary swords, Zulfiqar has double-edged blades.
There are different beliefs surrounding the origins of this sword. Some believe it was sent by Allah through Angel Jibrael, while others think it was given to Imam Ali by Hazrat Muhammad. According to various narrations, Prophet Muhammad prayed for assistance during the battle of Uhud, and the sword was sent down to aid Imam Ali. However, there is also a belief that it was one of the 7 or 9 swords owned by Prophet Muhammad himself and later bestowed upon Imam Ali to distinguish him in battle.
