ENG: Today there is a little MockUp art for the eye. On the one hand you can see myself and on the other hand the subway station Frankfurter Gate.

I see it as a little gimmick. The complete picture was created and edited with the iPhone.

In the distance (left) is the Fisherman's House - this is where the bus stops during high seasons, on the right is the Dauphin Demi-Bastion and the fortification walls.

In a comment for my last photo, my friend Jason asked me whether I am working for the tourist board. I would like to say that here we have a Maldives Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) but they don't give any priority to us local Photographers. But I try my best to share the beauty of Maldives for those who visit my stream and value my work.

Thanks for visiting!

The Cathedral of Berlin is the largest church in the city, and it serves as a vital center for the Protestant church of Germany. At 114 meters (374ft) long, 73 meters (240ft) wide and 116 meters (381ft) tall, it was much larger than any of the previous buildings. On 27 February, 1905 the present building was inaugurated.

Berlin Cathedral has never been a cathedral in the sense it has never been the seat of a bishop.

In 1940 and 1944, the Cathedral suffered extreme damage from Allied bombing.

In 1980 the baptistery and wedding church was reopened for services. The restoration of the nave was begun in 1984. On 6 June 1993 the nave was reinaugurated in an event attended by Federal Chancellor Helmut Kohl and televised nationwide in Germany.

In a few days, i will celebrate my birthday, unfortunately not being able to have all the customers to cut the cake, so I decided to create this special promotion by cutting prices in the store! ♥

This area was the location of a small complex for the manufacture of lime for the Royal Battery fortifications. Limestone was crushed and burned in kilns, then mixed with water in slaking pits to form a moist muddy. Sand was mixed with the putty to form mortar. The motor created at Louisbourg was notoriously poor quality, as the sand used in the mixture contained traces of salt.

The reason for my visit to the Fortress was to get pictures to add to my book I had created before. The first day after the long drive I just wanted things outside of the fortress but part of the history, especially of the sieges.

The first lighthouse was an octagonal wood tower built in 1832, 21 meters (69ft) high. It had a round iron lantern and a 3rd order double bullseye lens manufactured in France. This lighthouse was replaced in 1936 by the current concrete tower, but the original lantern and lens were retained. It has the only remaining circular lantern in Nova Scotia.

The bellows dominates the forge, providing a source of oxygen to keep the charcoal burning. The panes in the oak-framed casement windows are tanned animal hides treated with oil, to allow light inside. Most of the ironware used for the doors, windows and fireplaces was forged by the blacksmith who also made and repaired tools and manufactured trade goods. Repairs to military equipment were made by the armourer or locksmith. These men received a higher salary than the apothecary or surgeon, demonstrating how highly these trades were valued.

The Plains of Abraham is a historic area within the Battlefields Park in Quebec City. The land is the site of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, which took place on 13 September 1759, on that date, British soldiers under the command of General Wolfe, climbed the steep cliff under the city in darkness, surprising and defeating the French, through a single deadly volley of musket fire, causing the battle to be over within 30 minutes. Both Wolfe and the French commander, the Marquis de Montcalm, died of their wounds, but the battle left control of Quebec City to the British, eventually allowing them to take control of Canada the following year.in 1908 was the land ceded to Quebec City, though administered by the specifically created and federally-run National Battlefields Commission.

In the background is The Citadelle of Quebec , also known as La Citadelle, is an active military installation and the secondary official residence of both the Canadian monarch and the governor general of Canada. It is ladjoining the Plains of Abraham in. The citadel contains the oldest military building in Canada and forms part of the fortifications of Quebec City, which is one of only two cities in North America still surrounded by fortifications.

Devil's Stream, legend says its got the name because of a woman of devilish nature, who used to live nearby, at the Maltese Square. Truth is the place was probably named after the house standing there, called “House of the Seven Devils”.

The last mill was in use until 1936.

Several famous movies were shot at the Devil´s Stream and around it, for example Mission Impossible or Amadeus.

I have a ton of these postcards left, so if anyone would like one just send me a message at my new email jeremysorese@gmail.com!

St. Bogorodica Bolnicka is small and very old church. The style of the architecture and frescoes indicate that it originates from the 14th century.

A local legend: "Since the Middle Ages the church was prohibited to conduct Mass, wedding or baptizing ceremony. People believed that under the church there were dark corridors where the evil powers lived and harmed people. During one baptizing a child died and while a wedding was happening the bride died.

There is a document dating from 1694 which says that any priest coming to Ohrid it is forbidden to conduct any kind of service in this church.
