I photographed this Atlas Van lines single trailer Peterbilt tractor in Reno. It has an oversize sleeper cab, extra chrome trim, custom projector beam headlights and a nice large grille guard.
This is one of my favorite big rig designs, I photographed this CAT in Idaho. I think it has a Trail King TK110SA Sliding Axle Trailer. Caterpillar introduced the CT660, CT680 & CT681 Class 8 on highway vocational trucks back in 2011 and they ceased production of these trucks for the U.S./North American market after the 2016 model year. Caterpillar continues selling rebadged International on highway semi trucks for the Australian market only. And they continue to produce huge off road dump trucks for use in open pit mining operations in North America.

The vehicle owners have the option to choose various types of headlights suitable to one’s style or budget or other requirements. Such projector headlight car enables one to see clearly the road ahead at night or other such adverse weather conditions. However, the equally bright projector type headlights from the opposite side vehicles coming towards one’s vehicle affects their driving during night conditions. Hence, one has to be very careful while driving and ensure safety of themselves and the occupants.
