The University of Wollongong offers a Body Donation Program. People who donate their bodies for medical and scientific research make an invaluable contribution to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Donors are guaranteed that their remains will be treated with dignity, respect and anonymity at all times. Our students will be made aware of the special and unique privilege that has been accorded to them by the generosity of donors and their families.

Our program could not be successful without the support of our many sponsors. Through them, we are able to get the best in new equipment, enter more tournaments, and increase our profile in the community. When you are looking for goods and services, please check out our many sponsors to let them know how much they mean to the program. We are able to keep our entry fee for Traveling lower than most sports, and much of the credit for that goes to our sponsors and the support they provide.
Oakland Fire Station 20 was the center of Sound the Alarm activities in neighborhoods surrounding International Blvd and 98th Ave. The Red Cross partnered with the Oakland Fire Department, Bay Area EMT, Oakland Professional Firefighters Association, Merritt College Fire Science Program, CERT, and CORE to install alarms in over 40 homes. Officials present were Fire Chief Reginald Freeman and City Council Member Treva Reid. Chief Freeman noted that smoke alarm installation is critically important to the safety of the residents in East Oakland the most underprivileged neighborhood in the City.
