NEWPORT, R.I. – Students from the U.S. Naval War College’s (NWC) Advanced Strategist Program (ASP) graduate in a ceremony held at the Naval War College Museum August 9, 2023. The ceremony, presided over by NWC President Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, recognized students for completing the specialized track for service members and civilians skilled in the practice of formulating, developing, and executing strategy at various leadership levels. The 13-month program is completed in conjunction with the College of Naval Command and Staff curriculum with students being awarded additional credit on top of a master’s degree in Defense and Strategic Studies. Established in 1884, NWC informs today’s decision-makers and educates tomorrow’s leaders by providing educational experiences and learning opportunities that develop their ability to anticipate and prepare strategically for the future, strengthen the foundations of peace, and create a decisive warfighting advantage. La alegría que desbordan en cada jornada de entrega de computadoras portátiles, es indescriptible. ¡Qué grato es poder ser parte de este momento tan especial!
En esta ocasión correspondió el turno de recibir las computadoras portátiles a los 271 estudiantes de los terceros de bachillerato de las siguientes unidades educativas fiscales: San Carlos y Carmelina Granja Villanueva, de la parroquia San Carlos; y, Manuel Viteri Camacho, de la parroquia La Esperanza.
Gracias a Carlos Solís y a Evelina Sevillano, presidentes de las Juntas Parroquiales de San Carlos y La Esperanza, respectivamente; y, a los padres de familia, representantes, docentes y ciudadanía en general, por acompañarnos en estas jornadas muy emotivas, que contribuyen al fortalecimiento de la educación de nuestra Provincia.
