12ª Edição do Programa Jovem Senador 2024.

O tema de 2024 é “Os 200 anos do Senado e os desafios e o futuro da democracia” e conta com a participação de estudantes de todo o país, oriundos da rede pública de ensino.

AIP Foundation provided the Gia Lai Police force with speed guns and related measurement equipment as part of Slow Zones, Safe Zones, marking the first of such exchanges in Vietnam.This campaign is part of the Slow Zones, Safe Zones program, which is the first-ever pilot program to reduce speed in school zones in Vietnam, supported by Fondation Botnar and the Global Road Safety Partnership. The program focuses on speed reduction and school zone safety through the construction of tailored school-zone modifications like speed bumps, road markings, speed reduction signs, and sidewalks. Additional program components include increased law enforcement, road safety public awareness campaign to promote positive road user behavior and the development and testing of a nationally applicable road safety e-curriculum.

As part of the BSA CubeSat Demonstration Program, students designed and built small-scale satellite systems to collect and store atmospheric data. Supported by the MXL CubeSat Flight Lab and Blue Origin engineers, this hands-on project gave participants real-world experience in system design, fabrication, and flight testing.

On December 9, 2016, the Arboretum and Public Garden had the opportunity to welcome a group of students from a journalism program in Visalia CA. The aspiring young journalists had the opportunity to interview our Museum Education & Interpretive Manager- Maya Makker, GATEways Outreach Students- Vivian Le and Rachel Le and our Outreach and Leadership Program Coordinator- Melissa Cruz.
