Having trudged 1.5 miles along the shingle spit to visit Hurst Castle Spit, we found SEGA clients landing in a fleet of ribs. They were heading to a product launch / lunch in the castle, preventing us from visiting the Tudor rooms that we'd paid to see!

Today I was invited to a Sony product launch but unfortunately it did not include the Sony A9. I was promised that there would be an A9 launch party in the not too distant future.
Basically what was launched today was the Sony A1 OLED 4K Ultra HD series of Smart TVs and they were impressive. The A1 is available in 55", 65" and they will be shipping a 77" version later in the year. We saw the first 77” A1 in Europe.
As reviewing home electronics is not what I do I am publishing some photographs of the event but I will not provide any technical or other information other than to say that I am considering the A1 55”.
It was almost impossible to photograph to photograph the 77” TV as it was huge but I hope that my photographs are of interest to some of you.

Train Chartering supplied a car manufacturer with an exclusive First Class Pullman charter train. Their international dealer network and invited customers travelled to and from the factory, with onboard dining by Anton Mosimann.
The private train has First Class air-conditioned intercity carriages. The coaches, with panoramic windows, sound-proofing, good suspension, armchair seats and full-size tables created a comfortable environment for Pullman dining and good conversation.
The journey went smoothly; the return run being quite possibly close to a record for a private charter train. 270 passengers all enjoyed a typical full cooked breakfast outbound provided by the train caterers. People from all over the world enjoy this quintessentially British meal on the charters operated by Train Chartering. Despite the fast journey, caterers delivered a 3-course dinner on the return.
One delegate from France commented that the level of onboard service was to their standards; a great considerable compliment from someone who sells quality motor cars to a demanding clientele!
