I was a demonstrator for Blue Dragon Stir-Fry Sauces the other day and decided to write a few recipes to really showcase the potential of these relatively convenient pouches. Each pouch says it "serves 2", however, I found them very thick and gloopy and so all the recipes I'm sharing (which serve 4) use one pouch plus water or another form of liquid to make more of a "coating sauce" that also soaks into the rice or noodles you happen to serve it with.

Day 2 of NAMM 2017
I'm in the Peavey booth and Robert Randolf is demonstrating a slide guitar and amp he helped design.
Jason and I left the hotel room later this morning so we took a taxi to NAMM. We didn't do the fine tooth combing of the halls like I did yesterday. Instead we focused on a lot of guitar stuff and saw the basement. We went up to the second level to see Schecter, Paul Reed Smith, ESP, and Peavey. We went up to the third level and saw Fender, Gibson, and Boss. We got in line at the Jim Dunlop booth and got signed pictures from John Petrucci. He also posed for pictures for a Dunlop guy to take with our cameras.
We met up with Mike Martin who went to Fort Hayes with us during the 1987/1988 year. We were Juniors and he was a Senior. Mike works for Casio so he is at NAMM every year. He told us to let him know if we ever need passes and he'll hook us up with Exhibitor Guest passes. Good to know.
We ran into Daniel & Mick from That Pedal Show on the floors and I got their attention because I was wearing their shirt! They were really nice and talked to me for a while and Jason took a picture of us talking. In the Peavey booth Glenn Fricker walked in while we were looking at amps and I talked to him about the Rule #2 shirt. He was kind of sick so he didn't shake hands but he was really cool and gave me a Rule #2 sticker. I saw him interviewing Ryan Bruce earlier and sent an Instagram picture with the caption "is YouTube closed today?" I saw lots of YouTube people I follow.
We knew that we could get tickets to the King's X/Zakk Sabbath show for tomorrow night from the Schecter booth but when we first went there they had a sign saying "no tickets". The girls told us to come back around 1:30pm. We did and we got 2 tickets to the show for a donation; Jason gave them $20.
Jon Van Meter and John Homan were coming out today too so I texted Jon when we got back to our hotel. He said they were going to a Paul Gilbert show but it was in LA and we didn't have a car so we said we would meet up Saturday either at NAMM or the King's X show.
Since the hotel food and alcohol was so expensive Jason and I decided to walk to the BW-3 or Dave & Buster's for dinner. We ended up at BW-3 and sat at the bar. Our beers there were just as much as they were at the hotel! That was a waste. So we ended up back at the hotel drinking. I have no idea how we made it back to our room.
