just practicing processing...

Now in b&w.

Well, for now. Until I decide that I actually like the other ones I took.

Heritage day at school tomorrow! Pictures to come. (hopefully)

I think I'll get 3. I hope to get more. But probably just 3.

:-(

It's hard to take pictures at school because we have Teachers Against Electronics.

Usually, in the beginning of the day they don't mind too much, but hmm. You can never be too sure.

They might make an exception because it's heritage day. But eh. I don't know.

Monday - Heritage day.

Tuesday - Jersey day.

Wednesday - Red, white & blue day.

Thursday - Twin day.

Friday - Blue & Gold day.

Tomorrow I'm prepared for.

Tuesday I have no idea. I don't own any jerseys. Maybe I'll make a fake one out of a wife beater or tank top or something. We'll see. Maybe, maybe not.

Wednesday I'll wear blue and white, but i don't own red really.

Thursday I'll do twin day with my "biffle" M, maybe. We don't really dress alike.

Friday is blue & gold day. School colors. I'll wear a yellow shirt and jeans.

Rough week.

;-)

I think Bluebells are very hard to photograph and make interesting, well I struggle with them, this will have to do for this years effort.

Polaroid CP3 Experimental process

Have you ever seen something you have been imagining for days and never spoken of, suddenly represented by another artist in Flickr?? Has it ever happened to you that the type of art you do suddenly appears in your favourite artist or bands´ artwork without them having possibly known? This sort of coincidence is known as Synchronicity but a group of artists and I have been observing the amount of times these coincidences happen. It has happened at least once to almost every person. This is a glimpse of what the scientific term of Collective Unconscious means and how it permeates reality, as science has shown before. The experiment we are about to embark on is based not on promoting synchronistic phenomena but merely on registering each time this happens until we have a large list of these synchronistic phenomena and can find general common factors. There is a place where all thoughts from everyone come together, the place where we dream things that happen or that dont, the place of beauty and art, our dreams. If this has happened to you, you would be helping an ongoing investigation if either you just mentioned it has happened to you (the mere affirmative has statistical value) or you kindly described your case as a comment on this journal. I will let all those who participate know the final result.

I took this picture right outside of my house. I then printed the photo using the cyanotype process.

Believe it or not, I DON'T have too much time on my hands! I have a full-time job that bores the life out of me so I have to be as creative as I can be when I'm home or I feel like I'm going to shrivel up and die!!!! Am I too dramatic? Perhaps.

I have a lot of old jagged East TN rocks to work with so I smoothed this one out and made a little thatch roof with Apoxie Sculpt. The chimney is wood-filler and the paints are craft acrylics.

This is a really fun, EASY project that would be good for kids. Plus, it makes a really cute piece of garden art when it is finished! I suggest everyone try this project!

Another shot of Chris skateboarding. I post process all of these. I'm not great at post processing, so they're not that great.

For Yuki.

Possible lace for the dress. I made them alike but not exactly the same, only changed the bunka doll fabric.

Maybe we could use different laces as well? Which one do you like the most, lace and bunka doll?

Taken in Xianju, China, with our Lomo LC-A+ and cross processed 35mm film.

Two new beautiful canvas photographs have arrived and they're about to crystallize! Working in batches, submerging my photographs in tanks to grow crystals on beautiful images.

Hama Syria - Afaf, her husband and their five children, work together collecting figs, processing & promoting their products as one family. Although that the conflict in Syria has limited their access to broader markets, the family kept going-on with their small-enterprise by reaching surrounding markets. Afaf is ambitious to gain knowledge and experience on modern food processing to drop the traditional processing she uses for long time, she aims at making her products competitive by standardizing her produce.

First attempt at cross processing. I can't decide if it is a good wierd or a bad wierd.

A double exposed roll of expired Fuji Velvia 50 slide film. Exposed first at ISO 80, then the second time around at ISO 32. Cross processed in C-41 chemicals. Both exposures taken on a Canon EOS A2E camera.
