Twirls are probably getting passe now but I've done so many, I thought I post one again. I see so many things in this one - what do you see?
I have a prism that is 3"diameter of which this is a part. I placed it atop a rainbow-coloured Slinky ,on my rainbow background paper.
There were all sorts of abstract patterns to choose from !
I have a 'fade correction' tool in my PSP and used it to make the colours 'pop'.

La verdad, es que la mayoria de las veces en que sacamos una fotografia, no apreciamos al 100% que es lo que tenemos delante, vemos una escena que nos gusta, y disparamos. Solo al revelar el negativo apreciamos la belleza o el poco interes de lo que hemos fotografiado. Ahi esta la magia de este arte, resaltar las escenas cotidianas y plasmarlas bajo nuestro prisma.

The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift in Tamfourhill, Falkirk, in central Scotland, connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. It reconnects the two canals for the first time since the 1930s. It opened in 2002 as part of the Millennium Link project.
