I hadn't found anything pastel and then these came to mind. I used to love them when I was a child. They had a bit of a fizz to them. All the giggles as you handed them out to friends and they got the 'kiss' or 'marry me', or 'be mine', I think we were only about 8 or 9 years old and had just started going all gooey over boys, A lifetime away when we were all a lot more innocent. I did eat one .............not going to eat another - lol
Two weeks past the Iowa State Fair. It is the first of September. The roses are gorgeous on the Fairgrounds. Someone must be pampering these beautiful roses.

When I bought these straws, as photo props, I was hoping to find some in bright colours too, but there weren't any.
Rather a good thing for today's theme!

I would have liked this photo to be lighter.
I'm just a novice with my camera but I enjoyed todays theme
One of my favourite garden plants because they're really self-sufficient, they're drought resistant and they're a favourite of the bees. Need some advice on when to splt them - these ones are about 8 years old - I think I split them once before. Can it wait till Spring?
