Das Denkmal wurde am 15./16.08.2009 errichtet, ist 5 m hoch und 3,75 m breit und zeigt Elvis' Silhouette aus dem Film "Jailhouse Rock".
Elvis Presley was one of the greatest, not just singers, but stars of all time. Before anybody did anything, Elvis did everything. He was know as the King of Rock & Roll but most people just referred to him as the King. He was a singer, actor, and war veteran to name a few accomplishments of his. He would get his break in music in 1954 at Sun Records. He would go on to be the greatest selling artist of all times with numerous hits. He took 3 years off to serve in the army but came back and picked right back up. As an actor, he would appear in over 30 films. His films in the 1960's brouth in almost $300 million in sales. On August 16, 1977, Elvis was found dead in an upstairs bathroom at Graceland. He had overdosed on pills. He is buried here at his home Graceland in Memphis, Tn. His mom, father, and grandmother are buried here next to him.
Bad Nauheim, Germany - During his military service in Germany 1958-1960, Elvis Presley lived in this city.

Just completed these 2. Presley was a former Delancy doll ( Street Sweet). I thought her eyes matched this hair color really nicely & I've been having a lot of fun using some more adventurous colors. Ryder was club birthday Sutton. I've been working my way up to doing some painting on my dolls, so I decided to try changing his eye color. I think he came out pretty good.
This photo above happens to be my favorite photo ever taken of Elvis.My how special and lucky this young fan surely is.
He did it all and pleased so many of us...rock and roll, rockabilly, country, blues, gospel and rhythm and blues !
Thank you for letting us be all shook up, stuck on you, a hound dog, a good luck charm, Dancing at the jailhouse rock, loving me tender and hanging out at the heartbreak hotel.
There are of course so many other dance and Love songs that we will enjoy forever on-wards.
