"That's All Right" is a song written and originally performed by blues singer Arthur Crudup. It is best known as the first single recorded and released by Elvis Presley.

Elvis Presley was one of the greatest, not just singers, but stars of all time. Before anybody did anything, Elvis did everything. He was know as the King of Rock & Roll but most people just referred to him as the King. He was a singer, actor, and war veteran to name a few accomplishments of his. He would get his break in music in 1954 at Sun Records. He would go on to be the greatest selling artist of all times with numerous hits. He took 3 years off to serve in the army but came back and picked right back up. As an actor, he would appear in over 30 films. His films in the 1960's brouth in almost $300 million in sales. On August 16, 1977, Elvis was found dead in an upstairs bathroom at Graceland. He had overdosed on pills. He is buried here at his home Graceland in Memphis, Tn. His mom, father, and grandmother are buried here next to him.
Bad Nauheim, Germany - During his military service in Germany 1958-1960, Elvis Presley lived in this city.

I am still finding things as I archive my work. Back in 1980 I did a series of caricatures of People Magazine covers to specifically show them to get work. The art director loved them and I did get some great jobs for them. A great magazine to work for.

Built in 1936 by the city of Memphis and the Works Progress Administration. The site of numerous great Memphis shows including (according to its website) “the electrifying debut of a young Elvis Presley in 1954, where his groundbreaking performance opening for headliner Slim Whitman marked what many music historians call the very first rock and roll show, leaving an indelible mark on music history. In the years since, the Shell’s stage has welcomed an array of legends including Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Furry Lewis, Booker T. & the MGs, Isaac Hayes, Lisa Marie Presley, Mavis Staples, Sid Selvidge, and many more.” Not to mention Big Star, Alex Chilton, Mudboy and the Neutrons, and Tav Falco’s Panther Burns.
Just completed these 2. Presley was a former Delancy doll ( Street Sweet). I thought her eyes matched this hair color really nicely & I've been having a lot of fun using some more adventurous colors. Ryder was club birthday Sutton. I've been working my way up to doing some painting on my dolls, so I decided to try changing his eye color. I think he came out pretty good.
