Clothed in an elegant body designed by Count Albrecht von Goetz, the BMW 507 was powered by the first German post-war all-aluminium eight cylinder engine. Its quintessentially 1950s style was every bit as appropriate to take Audrey Hepburn to Tiffany's for breakfast as it was to cover long continental journeys in sybaritic comfort. Elvis Presley owned this particular model!
The BMW 507 is a roadster that was produced by BMW from 1956 to 1959. Initially intended to be exported to the United States at a rate of thousands per year, it ended up being too expensive, resulting in a total production figure of 252 cars and heavy losses for BMW.
John Surtees was given a 507 by Count Agusta for winning the 1956 500cc World Motorcycle Championship on a MV Agusta. Surtees worked with Dunlop to develop disc brakes for the front wheels of the 507 and his 507 eventually had disc brakes on all four wheels. Surtees owned his 507 until his death. Following his death, the Surtees car sold for £3,809,500 plus commission in July 2018. The 507 owned by Albrecht von Goertz was sold for £2,367,000 plus commission at Bonhams on 1 December 2018.

Das Denkmal wurde am 15./16.08.2009 errichtet, ist 5 m hoch und 3,75 m breit und zeigt Elvis' Silhouette aus dem Film "Jailhouse Rock".
Elvis Presley was one of the greatest, not just singers, but stars of all time. Before anybody did anything, Elvis did everything. He was know as the King of Rock & Roll but most people just referred to him as the King. He was a singer, actor, and war veteran to name a few accomplishments of his. He would get his break in music in 1954 at Sun Records. He would go on to be the greatest selling artist of all times with numerous hits. He took 3 years off to serve in the army but came back and picked right back up. As an actor, he would appear in over 30 films. His films in the 1960's brouth in almost $300 million in sales. On August 16, 1977, Elvis was found dead in an upstairs bathroom at Graceland. He had overdosed on pills. He is buried here at his home Graceland in Memphis, Tn. His mom, father, and grandmother are buried here next to him.
Bad Nauheim, Germany - During his military service in Germany 1958-1960, Elvis Presley lived in this city.
Though Elvis never visited Australia, there is a memorial in the Melbourne General Cemetery which was placed here even before the one in Memphis. It was commission by President of the Elvis fan club in Melbourne, Wayne Hawthorne: "The fan club secured permission from Elvis’s father, Vernon, to erect the world’s first monument to his son’s death, unveiled by “Australia’s king of rock”, Johnny O’Keefe, on 26 November 1977. It was erected before even the monument in Memphis, Hawthorne says, and Elvis fans flocked to the Melbourne cemetery. (Official estimates) say there were over 400 (people who attended the dedication); Hawthorne remembers there being at least 1,000."

You can see here that the grotto is even wired to light up at night. However, the fan club did unfortunately misspell Elvis' middle name.
Presley went out to pick some mushrooms today, I told her she's lucky she'll go back to Canada soon as they have lots of cool mushrooms up North!

I am still finding things as I archive my work. Back in 1980 I did a series of caricatures of People Magazine covers to specifically show them to get work. The art director loved them and I did get some great jobs for them. A great magazine to work for.

Just completed these 2. Presley was a former Delancy doll ( Street Sweet). I thought her eyes matched this hair color really nicely & I've been having a lot of fun using some more adventurous colors. Ryder was club birthday Sutton. I've been working my way up to doing some painting on my dolls, so I decided to try changing his eye color. I think he came out pretty good.
