I took heaps of photos but can't fill in the gallery,
so I made into a short video again.

Small village in Japan with beatuful Gassho-zukuri houses.
Unfortunately it was between snow and sakura season.
Really nothing season but the view was still amazing.
I made into a short slide show (44sec).
If heavy and slow, I am sorry. I tried to export in lighter way
(codec H.264 / output MP4). If any better way, please let me know.

This music is truly a gem. I had to use just the middle part but whole the music is really amazing and so moving.

to anwser your question: to do those kind of effects you need Adobe Photoshop (to create masks and depth maps), Adobe After Effects ( for the rain on the window, and the effect like on the close- up portrait or the photo with flashlights) and PremierePro for the rest of effects and putting it all together with music)
I have more appreciation for video production than I ever have before. The stop motion animators definitely work hard and I am guessing long hours. My body aches from being contorted on the ground under the equipment. This is so amateurish but every day I learn something new. I have decided to dedicate time to watching a CreativeLive class to learn PremierePro. Getting the dinos to move the tiles was too difficult so the words just appear...They just don't have a very large range of motion.

This is a screen capture of a video clip.
Done in Landscape Picture style, for some reason that style matched her skin tone the best. The portrait style had a slight pinkish tint to it that did not look natural.
Since I was at f3.2 some of the flowers are a little out of focus. 1/50th and ISO 200.
I am trying to figure out how to match the physical color card to what I see on the screen in Premiere CS5.
This test was inspired from the Zacuto's The Great Camera Shootout 2010.
