There are 3 hours I was on the beach at Nice, La Promenade des Anglais was full of people came to see the fireworks of July 14th. Out with girlfriends, we ate on the beach waiting for the fireworks started, we wanted to leave the beach for a drink at the bar across. And it happened, a truck drove into the crowd and fired into the crowd, killing fifty and more people. With my friends we were taken into the crowd screaming, running in all directions.
For the first time in my life I saw what monster could do to innocent people. For the first time in my life I'm terrified. We saw blood, panic, horror. In writing I have goosebumps. Here in the Southeast, the French Riviera, we thought we were safe, we were heedless. From now on everyone will be suspicious.
It was our national day the day when we commemorate our motto: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity. Hatred ruined it.
God thank you, we are safe now. But that day will forever be in my memory, and now I could not go anywhere without fear.

.... On the evening of July 14, 2016, an Islamic terrorist deliberately drove a cargo truck into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, followed by mass shooting, killing at least 84. He was shot and killed by police..... The killer was a 31-year-old born in Tunisia named as Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel. He was said to be known to police but not on a terror watch list, the Islamist terrorist shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before he was killed.
At that precise time, I was happy. That was my first photo session of fireworks. I was ideally positioned upstream of the Mirabeau Bridge. In front of me, the Grenelle bridge, and Statue of Liberty*.
I was surrounded by friendly people.
I can testify that nobody knew that blood had flown at Nice. The first report came on my smartphone about ten minutes after the fireworks.
I felt devastated.
