Prague Castle "Hradcany" dating from the 9th century (870) is where Czech kings, Holy Roman Emperors, and the presidents of the Czech Republic have had their offices. It is the biggest castle in the world, measuring more than half kilometer in length and an average of about 130 meters wide.

The Prague Astronomical Clock, or Prague Orloj, is a medieval astronomical clock located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still operating.

To me, Prague seemed like a place where visitors wanted the past to be available for the present. In some areas, it wasn't too difficult to scratch that surface.
