At the market around my corner when I was working and living at Hefei University. This market was definitely not a pet market, the birds were meant for being eaten.

We are now both covid free, hurray, this week, we have mostly been on a business course, which if I’m being honest was absolutely useless and boring, it was difficult for me to sit at a desk for 7 hours a day for an entire week and behave. It was nice to get out and meet new people though, so not all bad.

The rooftop featured in the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in the segment 'Happy and Glorious' which saw Daniel Craig as James Bond transport Queen Elizabeth II to the Olympic Stadium by helicopter.
In 2016, following proposals to alter it, it received government recognition with a listing at grade II*, making it the youngest listed building in England

A shot taken from One Poultry in London back in September, I took this as we were heading to Coq d'Argent which is situated at the top of this building.
The colour atrium windows are a big draw for photographers and you can get a decent abstract look up shot.

Decisions, decisions! This young eagle must choose from the menu: fresh fish or duck (no orange sauce, sorry!). He chose the fish dinner. Good choice.
So if you wondering why the strange title, well that's the name of this new building at Bucklersbury Passage which I stumbled across whilst trying to find another one in London. Seemed odd to see such a blast of architectural colour amongst the rest of the city, but it works really well. Hope you're all having a great week - I still can't believe i've had a photo in Explore on a daily basis!DSC

Wandering about Brighton for the afternoon, I came across this street theatre / human art installation extolling the virtues of veganism by highlighting the cruelty entailed in stocking supermarkets with chicken.
The chickens seemed skittish today, less trusting, a wary gleam in their eyes as if birds all over America were on high alert. ..maybe it is just me. . .
