This is an old picture that I found. I intended to post it a long time ago but never got around to it. It is a little stream out in the country (the middle of nowhere Kansas actually) that I drove by and turned around and went back to look again. The only thing I did to this was crop it. I hope you enjoy it.

I was delighted to stumble upon Windy Post Cross on the way back to the car following my morning shoot on Saturday. This is a location I have been to a couple of times before, most recently during an evening star trail shoot, but have been meaning to go back to during the day.
The low sun to the left of shot was a bit of a challenge, but I managed to find a composition here that didn't result in any lens flare. This is a 30 second exposure, taken using the B+W 110 filter.

Last year, I had an opportunity to visit the east side of Brushy Peak which is off limit to the public. As a matter of fact, I had to take a ranger 's guided tour offered by Livermore Park and Recreation to get here. This particular outcropping is called "Post Office Rock". Back in the early 20th century, members of the Bohemian Club from San Francisco used to gather for picnic here. But going back even further before the Spanish came, Brushy Peak was once the center of the trading routes among the Native tribes in Northern California.

Ludwik Grohman Factory – a historic factory building of the "Ludwik Grohman Industrial Plants Joint-Stock Company", built in 1899, at 22/24 Wincentego Tymienieckiego Street, in Księży Młyn (Priests' Mill) in Łódź as one of the most important cotton industry facilities of the "Grohman Family Empire".
