These birds were ones I saw many times as a child, walking with my late father. We used to listen to their distinctive sound together. Now they bring back happy memories of our time together

I believe these must be Anemone coronaria St Brigid 'Lord Lieutenant' (Double Poppy Anemone) which I just discovered today at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Quite a different petal structure from the other single Anemones (also Anemone coronaria) I recently posted from Mona Vale, so more creative possibilities.

WNYP 630 passes the Post Office at Turtlepoint, PA as light power with the 637 on June 8, 2019. They would run light all the way to Emporium on this day. This marked the first time I chased them in 2019 with the "crowd" in pursuit.
