In A Pensive Mood

There are times, I'm in a pensive
mood, just thinking of you! I can't
seem to shake this mood, as it
makes me, very blue. Time after
time, I've said to myself, how long,
can this go on? Isn't it, about time,
these feelings, should be gone?
It seems I can't pull myself together,
not where you're concerned. Even
after all these years, I still, haven't
learned. There are moments, I talk
to your picture, I know it may sound
silly, but it always, gives me a lift.
Then there are times, I stare into
space, where my thoughts, become
adrift. I sometimes get angry, because
you left me, but I realize, it wasn't, of
your choice. If I'd really listen carefully,
I'd hear, my inner voice. No matter, I'll
look at your picture and continue,
talking to you. After all said and done,
what harm, can it really do?

En el crepúsculo sereno del día,
cruzó su mirada, fulgor de zafiro,
ojos que hielan, y en su melodía
susurran secretos de un viejo suspiro.
Azules, tan claros como la marea,
misterio en su fondo, calma en su brío,
llevaban la noche de luna llena
y el canto dormido del propio rocío.
Si alzaba los ojos, el mundo callaba,
cedía su trono el sol más altivo,
y el viento rendía su voz encantada
al soplo sutil de su par de lirios.
No sé si fue magia, si fue poesía,
si fue la locura o fue el desvarío,
pero desde entonces todo en la vida
resuena en el eco de aquel azul frío.

This old man was surely missing someone deeply maybe an old love or maybe his young children who left him for better earning options. None the less there was an untold story in his eyes .
