I found this portable usb battery from micro center for $10.
I tested on my iphone to see how long it takes to charge 0 battery to full battery. It took 2 hours and 44 minutes. It's not too bad for $10. And it's so easy to re-charge the portable battery by using an open usb slot to either computer or a wall socket.
Finally a small portable speaker-dock that sounds better than the old Boomtube.
Logitech's s715i has great sound when plugged in, but drops significantly with volume and bass when run from batteries. Even from batteries it still sounds better and more refined than the Boomtube with better Bass and higher distortion-free volume.
I thought this was cute. apparently you can haul a portable stop light up into the mountains for those tricky road construction days
