Photo from next to the taxiway. The mown grass runway is also visible, there is a pedestrian runway crossing manned by volunteer air cadets that allows pilots and visitors access to one of the aircraft parking areas.
According to the description, there are only four of these cars left in Europe... Two standing in one eastern-European museum, one driving on the streets, and this one: standing this festival in open air in the grassland :-)
I visited a oldtimer and steam festival in a nearby village 'Hensbroek'. Ideal objects for some pictures :-)

Laufskalarett in Hjaltadal is the most popular horse corral in Iceland. This horse gathering is an annual special event where horses are collected together when they return from mountains when the summer is over. For many the fun starts on the Friday evening at a show in the Svaðastaðir Riding Hall in Sauðárkrókur city. On the Saturday morning an army of riders will fetch the horses from the Kolbeinsdalur valley and then spend the afternoon sorting the horses, singing and having fun.
Popular lady like Mona but I don't see what all the fuss is about, there are better statues & paintings.
