Classic Coca Cola tables, a bit wobbly, with shiny chrome tops casting reflections. These tables were used at one of the outdoor cafes in the Pan Am Athlete's Village during the 2015 games. There is currently an online auction featuring furniture and memorabilia from Panamania at GovDeals.com. Though I did not see the cool pop tables available.

Having snapped the train leaving the Dowlow quarry complex I moved to a spot overlooking New Mills South Junction that I'd been keen to use for a while for an approaching train.

So, taken from the nicely elevated High Lea Road in New Mills, this image captures the 1.07pm Dowlow - Ashburys (6H52) loaded limestone, as it traverses the junction hauled by the spic and span Maritime-liveried DB Cargo 'Shed', unit 66162.

The shot was taken as freedom of movement became more liberal after the worst of the Covid pandemic. It was a warm day, and I remember being very happy to be sat on a stone wall by the roadside, coffee cup in hand, enjoying this rather grand view over the Goyt Valley, while waiting for the train to turn up!

Intended to be viewed full-screen, I thought it was time to give this one a run out. Comments are off, thanks.
