I was quite surprised by the diversity of insects already out and about at this time of year and enjoying what these flowers have to offer.

Afternoon Siesta for this little bee! This little guy shifted around once and was quite cozy in the pollen. The corollas of flowers in the sun may be a couple degrees warmer, which may cause some pollinators to linger a bit longer and get a bit more pollen.
