Have a great weekend!
Poe Springs Park is about 3 miles west of High Springs, Florida. The park is 202 acres in size and is along the St. Johns River. There's a HUGE clear water spring in the center that you can take a swim. It's also surrounded by trails and wooded areas filled with wildlife.

But the Raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered—not a feather then he fluttered—
Till I scarcely more than muttered “Other friends have flown before—
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.”
Then the bird said “Nevermore.”
I've been stuck in a rather boring routine for the past 2 weeks: school, homework, school again, more homework than the previous day, and so on. I've been wanting to go out into the Feather River Canyon and shoot some trains for a while now, and yesterday was the day for that.
BNSF 8434 is seen leading BNSF HPASFRS at Poe Dam, not far outside Pulga. BNSF 7780 and 7845 trail up front, and 7467 serves as a DPU (out of sight).
After getting ready around 10:30 AM, I made my way north to chase the train. I had planned a couple of shots the previous night, but unfortunately, I was only able to shoot one. The shot in question is the bridges at Pulga, which I will upload relatively soon.
As for this photo, I stopped off on the side of the road at Poe Dam, heading south. I didn't have much time to drive off, park, and get my shot at Pulga. I figured I may as well try to shoot the train (at the spot pictured here), as it looked nice, and the train wasn't particularly special. Luckily for me, I'd be able to snap my photo and have enough time to set up at Pulga.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
The Feather River Canyon is full of powerhouses and power dams, many of which are owned by Pacific Gas and Electric. While most of them are eyesores, a few can be framed with a train to make for an interesting shot.
While following the train, one stop would be at the Poe Power Dam. My friend and I had never shot it, but we knew that you can get a decent shot of a westbound there. After a short moment of waiting, the train would roll by and this was the result. We would shoot the train with one more dam in Oroville, which would also conclude our day.
