Hotel Pod Kazimierzem zbudowano w 1885 r. jako hotel uzdrowiskowy. Po II wojnie światowej służył jako internat Technikum Leśnego, a od 1994 r. należy do Ojcowskiego Parku Narodowego

Pod Kazimierzem Hotel, Eagles Nests Trail, Ojców, December 29, 2020
Pod Kazimierzem Hotel was built in 1885 as a spa hotel. After the World War II it was used as a dormitory for technical school pupils while since 1994 it has been a property of the Ojców National Park.
Still playing with B&W still lives of objects found in my backyard. This is a Magnolia seed pod after the seeds are gone.
People who wanted a high-speed thrill would collect the seed pods from the Venus plant and add a large engine and some controls. These pods had strange, anti-gravity properties. When ripe, the pods would float away from their parent tree, thus dispersing the seeds.

I've not studied Star Wars much, so I may have the wrong sort of pods and the ratio of pilots to engine pods the wrong round :D

Spent a few hours at Presqu'ile Provincial Park today at their Waterfowl Weekend. While the ice pack is still too heavy, I did manage to get a few shots of small finch and a tiny woodpecker near a feeder station.
This one also stood out for the red mark on it's head. I know nothing about birds, other than they fly, so after a little research I think this is a Common Redpoll, but I don't know. I just though it looked pretty unique. : )
These pods are being replaced by rows of white flowers. This spring bloomer attracts mason bees. It's a good plant to have if you're looking to support nature's pollinators.

Seeing as I've finished my first year of college I have had a huge amount of time on my hands and so I decided to work on the Bat Pod from the new batman movies.
The Bat Pod is actually concealed in the Tumbler but due to a lack of resources I wouldn't be able to make a LEGO version.
Please bare in mind this is my first time making a custom LEGO batman vehicle.

"Milkweed Seed Pods" by Patti Deters. This photograph of a native milkweed (Asclepias) fluff was taken from my Minnesota garden in early fall. The dried pointy seed pods split open to reveal the fluffy tails on the brown seeds. presented here in a vertical format. This fun and colorful necklace is made from hand sculpted and painted polymer beads, all made by myself. Like all of my hand painted beads, they have been sealed with multiple coats of a durable, high quality varnish. It closes with a button toggle clasp made with metallic seed beads, which are also used as spacers throughout the necklace. It is all strung on waxed cotton cord.
I took this shot of these seed pods a while back, on my Mildura trip...these were in the garden of the house where we stayed...
These are like a work of art, to me!
