11/4/11 - I spent an hour at the hospital doing a photoshoot for a project. These guys were awesome. (the "patient" is a nurse).

These pods have been falling for the last week or two. We had a particularly hot day yesterday, and it seems to have accelerated this process.

These pods I suppose bloom into a flower, however I haven't had the time to research them. I took the photo primarily because of their odd shape and coloring. Spotted when walking along a beachfront property

If anyone knows what they are, please let me know.

During COVID a few restaurants have installed these small eating pods to keep people safe while still eating some meals out. These are on the patio at the Delta Hotel (Lure Restaurant). Pretty cold evening too, so the pods would have made the patio useful in the winter.

Photo Details:

This was a first test of the 28mm lens - adequate at f/8 and pocket-small.

Straight out of the camera, nothing done in Lightroom apart from a conversion of RAW to JPG.
