We were lucky enough to meet a small pod of Orcas, the instantly-recognisable killer whales, top predator of the oceans. This photo shows the whole group of five animals (one can be seen underwater)

One from the archive. I've been so uninspired that I have nothing new and am resigned to editing old photos that didn't turn out the way I'd like off camera.
What I do like with this shot is the experienced worker looking right at the lens.
All comments and advice on ideas for something new are greatly welcome.
These two boats were chasing a small pod (3 whales) of Orcas between Hornby and Denman today.
They would zoom up to the 3 orcas and momentarily kill their engines. They were practically on top of them herding them next to the shoreline at Ford's Cove.
The 3 whales, looked to be 2 adults and one calf.
Is this a seed pod or something from Invasion of the Body Snatchers -- with all the fibers around the seeds it does look a bit like the movie. Tree near Little Saigon -- Huntington Beach, CA

Pod koniec września dotarła do mnie paczka z drukarni z egzemplarzami mojego pierwszego artbooka :) Są tu moje najnowsze prace, jak i te nieco starsze (m.in. płótna). Niektórych jeszcze nie publikowałam. Książkę pokazałam na Międzynarodowym Festiwalu Komiksu w Łodzi, który odbył się 1-2.10.2016.

The last week of September I got a pack from a printing house with copies of my first artbook :) There are my newest works but also the older ones (including canvases). Some of them were not published yet. I showed my book on International Festival of Comics in Łódź (1-2.10.2016).

(A Bandeira Nacional – na Praça dos Três Poderes)

O Mastro da Bandeira, elaborado com 24 hastes que representavam os estados brasileiros da época, é um monumento de autoria de Sérgio Bernardes, de cem metros de altura e que consta no Guiness Book como a maior bandeira hasteada do mundo. A bandeira fica hasteada no mastro ao lado do Panteão da Liberdade (na Praça dos Três Poderes), tem 286 metros quadrados e é iluminada por projetores automaticamente acesos, ao pôr do sol, e desligados ao amanhecer.
A Lei nº 5.700, de 1º de setembro de 1971, instituiu a solenidade e prevê que “a Bandeira Nacional estará permanentemente no topo de um mastro especial plantado na Praça dos Três Poderes de Brasília, no Distrito Federal, como símbolo perene da pátria e sob a guarda do povo brasileiro”.
A lei estabelece ainda que a substituição dessa bandeira será feita, com solenidades especiais, no primeiro domingo de cada mês, devendo o novo exemplar atingir o topo do mastro antes que o exemplar substituído comece a ser arriado.
O arquiteto, Sérgio Wladimir Bernardes (1919-2002-RJ), idealizador do Mastro da Bandeira Nacional de Brasília, é também o criador de importantíssimas obras: o Pavilhão de São Cristóvão-1960-RJ, Hotel Tropical Tambaú-1966-PB, Aeroporto Internacional Presidente Castro Pinto-1980-PB, Mausoléu do ex-Presidente General Castelo Branco-1972-CE, Centro do Convenções de Brasília-1972-DF, Residência Lota de Macedo Soares-1951-Petrópolis-RJ, Pavilhão Brasileiro na Feira Mundial da Bélgica-1958...
