... for me. But let it turn to gold, as it did here, on the shores of Windermere. A walk on a grey, rainy day turned suddenly gold, just for a few moments. The silence was profound and we felt very calm and happy. This is where I'd like to spend my days, very close to here. It wouldn't suit everyone but maybe we can be thankful for that, as we hardly saw another person for hours.
Hope you enjoy the silence with me and this makes you feel calm too. Thanks as always for any faves, comments or invites - I so appreciate your friendship and support.

Desde el alto de Meñakoz, en dirección oeste, tras cada uno de los salientes del mar encontraremos una playa.
Arrietara, Atxabiribil, Barinatxe ( La Salvaje ), Azkorri, la ria de Bilbao, Playa de La Arena, cada ensenada encierra una o varias playas. Por ejemplo, en la entrada de la ria de Bilbao encontramos Arrigúnaga, Ereaga y Las Arenas. En total ocho arenales, todos perfectamente aptos para el baño en la temporada de verano.
Al fondo, ya en Cantabria, las cumbres de Cerredo, Monte Candina y Buciero, ya sobre Santoña.
El tiempo es el que es y la suerte es poder salir una tarde y obtener unas cuantas imágenes, como robando, no a personas desprevenidas sino a la madre naturaleza, que tiene muy malas pulgas por lo mal que la tratamos.

I did this with the new Photo Shop program "Felix". It's free, I know, hard to believe anything from PS is free, so I tried it. I don't really know what I doing with it but it's fun to play around with it. I'm sure Photo Shop will start charging for it if people like it.

Fran and I went out on the Thunder Cat Dolphin Watch out of Wildwood NJ. We had a blast and so did the Bottlenose Dolphins. The boat gets to a certain speed to make the wake and the Dolphins can't resist playing in them. It's not as easy as you would think to shoot them. Try to stay steady on a moving boat and guess where they will come out of the wave.
No, there is no dirt on the lens, no dustspots on the sensor. When we followed the trail along River Weser outside Porta Westfalica after lunch we spotted more than 25 paragliders who had started on the hill of the Wiehengebirge near the Wittekindsburg and could stay in the air for hours due to the favorable weather conditions.
