(278/365) Autumn colours starting to show in the trees at Newmarket's recently revamped Pitch & Putt course. I don't play golf but am going to try & do the 1km perimeter walk 2 or 3 times a week. It's a lovely walk with a stream & varied habitats. My son works 3 days a week in the restaurant at the James O'Keeffe institute which is adjacent to the course so when I drop him off I can do some power walking. That's the theory anyway lol my trouble is I keep stopping to take photos! HTMT!
So some of my friends and I were playing the game, "what do you think I would go to jail for". Maybe a silly game, but apparently they thought I might go for being part of a heist. They said because in 1st life I am a Cappy therefor it must be true. *smh.. anyhow, made for a fun concept. Hope you enjoy.

We are fortunate to have two ipê-roxo trees (Handroanthus impetiginosus) bordering our soccer field {football pitch).
A contrast between light, dark and misty. The background was muted just enough to keep the yellow tree on the edge of the lake as the main feature. The manicured grass is part of the 9 hole pitch and putt golf course at the Inn on the Lake hotel.
Yes I know there's a builders van in the middle of the photo.......!

This was taken around midnight with only the lightning to show off the clouds and a torch to light the foreground. It's been about 11 months since the last electrical storm here so I was delighted to get something!
It's a bit funny and sad... Funny that in the country of football you can see an empty pitch... sad because I felt, that obviusly by 4pm in the Friday afternoon kids watching telly inside, instead of having fun outside....
Got to go to the Tigers game on Sunday, what a beautiful day for baseball. Too bad they lost. We had seats 3 rows behind the visitors dugout so I got some amazing photos! Also, did some gardening this weekend so I'll have some new stuff to post.

Whooper Swans are known for their loud, trumpeting calls, often described as a deep 'hoop' or 'whoop-whoop'. The sound can resemble an old-fashioned car air horn. These vocalisations are frequently heard during flight and in social interactions. The calls are more resonant and lower-pitched compared to other swan species, contributing to their common name. This is straight out of the camera. All I did was remove hot pixels. No other edit. Pitch black road, only light is noise pollution from town and random lightning flashes. Weird
