In Palatinate it is a good year for redwines or Rosé.

Wine - Pinot Grigio

I did a quick image search on Google and from the varieties that are commonly grown in Germany, Pinot Grigio (Grauburgunder) seems to be the most likely candidate.

Swanson Pinot Grigio - Opened this bottle of wine last Tuesday. I can say that this pinot did not make it to any stew or saute pan. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I hope you all enjoy this Tipsy Tuesday. Cheers!

Depending on the location and the hand of the winemaker, a Pinot Grigio taste profile can be light and tasty or full-bodied and full-bodied. Classically, however, it comes as a crisp, fresh-fruity, and dry representative. Mostly rich in extracts, aromatic, and rather low in acid.

Took this last night as I was enjoying my wine :)

While I was in Italy it was common practice, for me anyway, to sample the local pinot grigio with lunch.

A tasting session at Niagara on the lake. There are many vineyards there The one we visited Reiffe was incredible and we were able to see what happens from start to finish.

We've got Rioja, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet, Riesling, Sangiovese, Gewurtz, Pinot Noir...

The Owner show us how to sample measure the sugar content of these fruit to gauge the harvest time. Expecting a good year due to relative hot and dry summer.
