Back and forth, I sway with the wind
Resolution slips away again
Right through my fingers, back into my heart
Where it's out of reach and it's in the dark
Sometimes I think I'm blind
Or I may be just paralyzed

And the pieces of my puzzle keep crumbling away

Indecision clouds my vision

My fingers in my ears to block the sound
My eyes shutting tight to avoid the sight
Anticipating the end, losing the will to fight
Droplets of "yes" and "no" in an ocean of "maybe"
From the bottom, it looks like a steep incline
From the top, another downhill slope of mine
But I know, the equilibrium's there

Pieces of paradise
This was my first thoughts looking and walking by Bellagio.
In each corner a lovely surprise and ... flowers, and you know how much I love flowers :)))
Charming narrow streets and hills with buzzing local commerce, a lot of cafes and restaurants. Undeniably a beautiful and interesting place where you want to get lost for too much time.
And the relaxing view of the lake plus the exuberant vegetation around became a simply divine experience!

Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate board game pieces at Macro Monday.
Since I’m not a board game or card player, this theme was a challenge for me. Of course, we have plenty of board games since my sons and husband love to play ! And when the boys are playing i can enjoy some others much more fun activities…. Like drinking wine in my very calm pool, just calmly folding laundry or daydreaming about beating the casino in Las Vegas and wining the jack pot at the roulette table!! Unfortunately it is only a dream and I have to go since I still have to work for my money and today is Monday so another video meeting ;-).

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily. And the theme at Smile on Saturday is carved art pieces. I wish I could tell that I’m very good at carving stuff but unfortunately this not the case. I have no carving talent what os ever… I tried to carve something out of soap once and I almost lost 3 fingers… I’m very clumsy and the situation gets even worst when I manipulate sharp objects…
So for today’s picture we have a small wooden elephant and an exemple of my carving talent. I carved this pencil with my initials (I tried to make a heart but it was way more difficult, so I sticked to straight lines …) all by myself !! The elephant is part of my personal collection of elephants. And if I remember right, it was a gift from my aunt. He is very stubborn and he like to push on things with his trunk… Also he is a drinker so dont let him near your drink or it will disappear in no time ! But other than that he is very smart and funny. He was carved from a very hard wood, which makes him almost unbreakable… After all, he survived in my house for so many years....
