Spelled with Miniature Scrabble pieces on a travel version of the classic board game. The game can be boring, so this is a little play on words. For the Macro Mondays theme "Five".
Macro Monday Theme " Connection "
The success of the puzzle is the connection of all the pieces to complete the jigsaw. The subject of the puzzle are Sudoku squares, which can also be solved, with a felt pen and wiped clean afterwards.

My husband bought this for me as a surprise, it is a Gnome be Gone made by Sugarpost artist Fred Conlon www.sugarpost.com/. I now have several of his pieces and just love them; they are fun and whimsical and suit my personality.

Pieces of bread I left in a sealed polythene bag for a few days. The trapped moisture and lack of air circulation created an ideal environment for mold spores to thrive.
This mold is rhizopus stolonifer. It is also known as pinhead mold. It is one of the most common types of mold and is a fast growing fungus that appears in white, then gray, and eventually black as it matures and releases spores.

My roommate messaged me after I had begun working on my next set of photos and told me to grab my camera. He had discovered what he describes as a cool bug. I came out with my camera and saw the thing and realized, this would be an excellent moment to try macro photography with my extension tubes for the first time. I had bought a set of them last year and had never put them to use.... suddenly as I began working out how to get the photo setting up my little cube lights out to illuminate the beetle I was problem solving. Of course I had to dress up the scene, bring it in the house for a few moments and enjoy a few minutes of photography late in the evening. Enjoy my little encounter with the Grapevine Beetle, also known as the June Beetle!
